I'd really like to put a website together archiving decent quality images of as many (although ALL would be nice!) Queen and related posters, Flyers and magazine promotions for tours, singles and albums from around the world as possible and by "decent quality", I mean it will fill a computer screen. There's nothing worse than looking at tiny pictures.
I've got a few originals of my own, but it's only a tiny number compared to what there must be, so, quite simply, I need to ask for help from folks who may have their own collection and be willing to share for the greater good of all.
Hi-res Scans would be better than photos for the magazine promotions and flyers that are A4 size or less, although tour posters would, sadly, have to be photographed due to the sheer size of them.
Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help make this work :)
See example below:
Hadn't thought about tickets just yet. Those are really collectible and I wouldn't want people ripping them off and selling fakes on Ebay.
Peter. The website development is yours if you want it.
I wanted to collect the material first, see what there was and take it from there.
Newspaper articles would be the next logical step (I'm still in the process of scanning mine), but let's focus on the flyers, posters and press ads first.

Great idea. I can contribute a few things. Let's hope the small promo posters won't get bootlegged after this. "Friends Will Be Friends" is already bootlegged.
