Feel Like is the embryo of Under Pressure, and A New Life is used in Breakthru so of these three i'm going with Dog with a Bone.
What i really like if they rework and release is Silver Salmon, Hangman if exist and a 10 min. version of Face it Alone.
I don't think I'd pick any of the three on the list given the reasons in the last post, plus Dog With A Bone is pretty much available in full anyway and it's a bit of a novelty song, as much as I love it.
I really wanted a finished version of I Guess We're Falling Out, although I don't think it would have sounded too far off from Let Me In Your Heart Again.
None of the three above.
Considering the way they built an ace song like You Don't Fool Me from small bits, I think Face It Alone would be a perfect candidate, given the recorded vocal bits we know that are available. And there could easily exist more recorded material that we are not aware of.
All 3 songs suck.
What about I Dream of Christmas? Born To Rock and Roll (the second version, not the one from the musical)? Hangman? Victory? Affairs (this one would fit the album perfectly)? Silver Salmon? Polar Bear?
None, "A New Life Is Born" is the nearest that would fit the "Ballads" type selection of "Queen Forever"
it would have been nice for "Victory" "State of Shock" & " I Dream of Christmas" to be included on some sort of official release, but again The type of songs would not fit on the new album.
Oh & before anyone says "How do you know Victory is not a ballad?" I don't.. I just think that with the none inclusion of the song on the album, that it may be a more upbeat song...my oppinion.
It could be interesting if Brian and Roger could use Freddie's vocals from Feel Like and transpose them onto a new piece of music.
Dog with a Bone sounds quite rough. I would only have Freddie vocals leading with a backing track from Roger and Brian.
As anyone asked John Deacon if he has any recordings he may have done with Freddie? Cheers!
"Dog with a bone" is a great little song and i love the Queen backing vocals when they all sing "Dog with a booooooone" !
I still do not think Bri or Rog have looked very far for Queen gems to include on the forthcoming album.
It seems to me Brian and Roger think more of there Adam/Queen relationship than look for unreleased freddie tracks.
pretty sad really because Freddie got the band noticed in the first place.
Another forgotten gem is "I guess were falling out" and i am sure Brian could have worked on that track with Roger,
as it has John Deacon on the track too.
