European tour or the long awaited new album, I hope it is the last one... |

MrNoMoreFunster wrote: European tour or the long awaited new album, I hope it is the last one...Miserable bugger. Some of us are happy to see Brian and Roger play live regardless of who is singing. You, of course, don't have to go or buy anything you don't want. Think you should change your name to MrNoMoreFunster..... ;-) |
MrFunster 16.09.2014 14:31 |
Brians Dig, What an unusual response. Of course I want to see them playing live. But I prefer the new album. Ps. You could change your nickname too. |
mooghead 16.09.2014 15:12 |
Maybe they are just going on the radio because they know their fans would like to hear them have a chat about things and not necessarily just be there because they wish to promote their new latest project like two shameless tarts. Have some faith people... I for one will wait and see. Watch this space... |
andyb1968 16.09.2014 15:13 |
New album I reckon, we may get to hear the first radio play single, my money is on love kills. Next spring or summer for euro dates methinks. |

It's one of those three or maybe they are having Deaky whacked and want a really good alibi. |

I really would be (happily) surprised if we get some live concerts next year. |

One good thing to come out of this, is that this nation has never been as politically aware as it is at this time Good to see Cameron et al breaking their necks to get up here and plead for our votes (and BBC back-tracking big-time) because they all know now that we are ON to them... Whatever the outcome, we are ON to them! |

I'm planning on it, MrFunster ^ |

Thanks ! :-) |
Pingfah 18.09.2014 08:10 |
Cool. I will be at work so I'll only get to listen to it on the crappy work radio. I'm not sure the tracks will be included in the BBC iPlayer catch-up stream. |
MrFunster 18.09.2014 10:35 |
I have heard no iplayer streaming. I hope there are more possibilties....:-) |
MrFunster 18.09.2014 10:45 |
Maybe someone can record it with ipad or iphone etc. as I cannot hear bbc radio if there is no streaming available. Thanks in advance |

Announce of the new album and information about spring Euro-tour. |
emrabt 19.09.2014 02:16 |
First air play of there must be more to life than this, I've heard fan mixes which sound better. To give roger Credit has pretty much outright said he doesn't like it. |
MercurialFreddie 19.09.2014 02:20 |
Well guys, I didn't record it but I've listened to it. As mentioned on the official QOL forum, they played the *new* tracks. Upon hearing the new mix - they played There Must Be More To Life than This - I couldn't believe that I hear Freddie, he sounds *odd* and NO, they DIDN'T use the "official" vocal take featured on the Mr. Bad Guy version. |
MercurialFreddie 19.09.2014 02:25 |
On the other hand "Let me in your heart again" is beautiful, and it isn't some demo finished off, Freddie's singing is beautiful on that one, dunno why they rejected it back in the day. What's more important it has more Queen sound to it than TMBMTLTT. |
emrabt 19.09.2014 02:25 |
It sounds like it was recorded at his grave side with him buried underground. |
emrabt 19.09.2014 02:25 |
Yes let me into your heart again is much better. |
Vali 19.09.2014 02:26 |
Let Me In Your Heart Again is AWESOME !!!!!!! goosebumbs !!!!! |
cmsdrums 19.09.2014 02:42 |
The mix of TMBMTLTT is dreadful; even Bri and Rog listening in the studio started pulling it to pieces. Brian says he did a mix and says almost bitterly 'well you won't get to her that though'. The vocals are wasy too far back in teh mix, the drums sound weak and very 'un Roger' and some vocals have been cut. The only saving grace is that it appears to be a differnet vocal take to the Mr Bad Gy version. Let Me In Your Heart Again is way better than th Anita version, and Freddie bring a lot to it. Still not a huge ffan of the song itself though. Oh, and Brian must be running out of ideas, based on the usual guitar parts going on. |
scottmax 19.09.2014 02:44 |

alberbal12 19.09.2014 02:53 |
Can anybody upload the full interview with the songs? |
emrabt 19.09.2014 02:55 |
When the show is finished at 9:30 you can go to the website and listen on Iplayer, you don't need to be in the UK, It's at about 1:35 into the show. |
scottmax 19.09.2014 02:56 |
They still haven't played Love Kills but it'll be in the next half an hour or so |
inu-liger 19.09.2014 02:59 |
Indeed. I'm waiting for them to play LK, and wrap up the interview with BM/RT before I stop recording. |

MercurialFreddie 19.09.2014 03:15 |
Yes, it's nice and they've really well recreated that (Brian's) version on tour with AL. BTW do you think if it's worth writing William Orbit via Facebook or twitter and ask him to strip TMBMTLTT ? He definitely put too much layers while remixing this track. |
brians wig 19.09.2014 03:18 |
So they've played them all? I don't really want to hear "Let Me In" until I've got the proper CD in front of me and I can listen in private, in good quality in FULL and without interruptions from Radio presenters. Jacky better not play them at Convention next weekend :( |
Vali 19.09.2014 03:18 |
indeed, more or less had the same feeling with TMBMTLTT, but I prefer listening to the track 2 or 3 more times to judge the production properly |

Christ, who has creative control of Queen albums? He should pull this mix out, as it would be best concerning Queen Productions' interest. On the Will. Orbit mix, Freddie's vocal is really buried in the mix and "blurred" in contrast to MJ's vocal which is clear and recognisable from the moment he starts singin' on the track. I bet that MJ's estate has given them ultimatum - either it's William Orbit's mix or the track won't get released at all. If that wasn't the case you wouldn't have Brian sitting in the studio and wishing that we could hear his mix instead. Thank God that other *new* tracks are brilliant. |
emrabt 19.09.2014 03:54 |
Honestly it would be better to leave it unreleased, it's dreadful. |
inu-liger 19.09.2014 04:03 |
My apologies folks, it's really late where I am and I can't stay up much longer. I will set it to upload to Mediafire, will put the link out when I'm up. |

The same old story again. Live at the Rainbow has been a wonderfull moment, but QP wants the same old story again. I'm happy to have bought Rainbow ( 2 CD + Blu Ray + 2 LPs) I'm happy that I definitively WON'T buy this shitty "Queen Forver" compilation. |
emrabt 19.09.2014 05:15 |
I will buy let me into your heart again if it's a single, i won't be buying the album. |

I'm disappointed. All three are over-produced with too much going on musically. "Let Me In" should have been nice and simple like the Anita Dobson version. |
inu-liger 19.09.2014 06:25 |
After hearing this new version, I don't think I will be able to listen to Anita's version anymore :) |

I love the way all the speculation prior to the album announcement from many who claimed they 'knew' what was going on the album has been wildly off... hilarious ! Nice new stuff to listen to, and a tour in the offing. I'm happy with that, one more time around the arenas for me...cool |

Agreed 100% His vocal take on "Let me in your heart again" track really can touch one's soul. Unfortunately Orbit's mix of the great FM ballad is dreadful. Not even day has passed and his official Facebook account is being attacked with comments bashing his work. Thank you Inu for recording the stream and sacrificing your sleep to provide us with a link, a true Queenzoner ! :) |

Blasting William Orbit is the most idiot thing of the year, Brian ad Roger involved him, it's not his fault if they make an awful album. Anyway I wonder if Brian and Roger are informed about all the negative critics that Queen Forever is gonna take, I wonder if they will make some sort of declaration or not. |
