I was just listing to Breakthru and first off love the song but I was thinking maybe this song should of had a different treatment on it instead of the fast pace song that sounds very poppy! I would of like to hear it more as a slow song then get a little faster in the middle like Play The Game or It's A Hard Life.
Would just like to know what song YOU would like to hear differently.

My Fairy King - everything the same except with better drum sound. Reason I say this for only one Queen I track is that there are no live versions of it.

The whole debut album could with the drums sounding like they do on the recent BBC version of 'See What A Fool I've Been' from the 2011 remasters - I'd buy that!
Also Hot Space and A Kind of Magic would benefit hugely from real bass and drums throughout to give a more organic sound and feel. (even the real drums on AKOM album are sterile and clinical and have no 'life' to them).
One Vision! I would like to have the sound to be a bit rockier like the Live Magic version. Very good vrsion. Its a nice song but it just needs something. I do like the video of the making of the song :-)
I mean, I love Hot Space. But reworked, would also be excellent.
I'm curious about what would happen if they rework The March Of The Black Queen. That would be awesome, a total fuckin' mess, or terrible?
I've thought, for quite some time (even BEFORE I ever heard any live versions of it!) that they should have re-done Action This Day! Great song, but I absolutely HATE that synth-horn solo thing in the middle! Would have been nice to hear a proper Brian solo instead.....
We are the Champions. I would love to hear a 1986 or 1989 version of this awesome song with more powerful vocals by Freddie. Something similar to the Magic Tour versions or to the voice he uses on I Want it All.
queen songs are actually very well arranged... they almost all sound like they were worked and reworked, tinkered with, and then at some point reprocessed... these guys weren't on the fly (save Sleeping on The Sidewalk).
the few i'd take out of that pool -->
Life Is Real -> it just feels like it's missing something (more than JL, lol)
Keep Passing The Open Windows should have been edited in some form and could have been an awesome single if only it had a better chorus...
My Baby Does Me would have been an interesting blues number... and would have benefited in any sort or rearrangement... the production on that one is mismatched.
Not reworked exactly, but I would love to hear March of the Black Queen (one of my very favourites) as performed at the Rainbow, but full length. Heavy piano, heavy sound. And the more powerful vocals.
Remix jazz and innuendo. Short on dynamics. .... Jazz has a horrible drum mix.
Wonder what happened at the helm.
No remakes but STAYING POWER isn't a bad idea. ...
Especially since the song's so shirty
Yes "shirty"
Ditch the synth and replace it with a classic EWF brass sound like on SHINING STAR. .
Eek. Well.... playing it back over in my head. ... the song would still suck.
I like the whole "power" delivery though
