Maybe not the best place of all to ask this, but I was here, and it just came to my mind......anyone had any problems with micro SD cards just suddenly dying? I use em with my Sansa Clip Zip.....(awesome tiny little mp3 player!) First I filled up a 16gb card with mp3s and FLACs.....(never had any problem at all with that card, by the way!)......so I eventually got a 32gb one.....and filled that up about halfway, then neither my player or my computer would read it.......so then I bought a higher-quality card, again 32gb.....and the same thing just happened!!
Argh......maybe I'll just get two 16gb ones and see if that works.......
I even read that my player can use cards of up to 32 gb....and they were even the same brand.......
Just really sucks to have half your music collection suddenly wiped out....I guess I can re-download the bootlegs I had easily enough.......
a couple of things worth trying
1. try them in other devices - that you definitely know can handle 32gb - maybe a decent camera or the SD card slot on a new-ish laptop or tablet.
2. put the offending card into the SD slot on your computer/laptop - right click the MY COMPUTER icon, select MANAGE, select STORAGE, then DISK MANAGEMENT. - does the card show up in here? if so then try reformatting from here
good luck
I just read this online...................
Sansa Clip Zip - supports microSDHC cards up to 32GB
(max recommended for MP3/WMA 16GB)
Hm.....
And I tried 1 and 2, Brenski......nothing......
