I sold my kidneys to get the super deluxe edition |
DepeX 27.08.2014 01:53 |
We've wanted this release for about 10 years, so why don't buy the deluxe release? (Although I expected both the two complete November gigs, thanks QP :-) |
ITSM 27.08.2014 02:07 |
Yes, but I'm not sure on which formats - other than the blue ray - of course I want the 4 LP-edition, but I really think it's too expansive. I'll wait and see what will be available on Spotify. I'm really looking forward to hear the live versions of The Fairy Fellers Master-Stroke and Great King Rat, but I'm not sure it's worth 100£ to hear them on official formats. |
The King Of Rhye 27.08.2014 02:08 |
Yep.........got the 2 cd version preordered! |

I can't get Live At The Rainbow in Argentina. ): |
dave76 27.08.2014 02:55 |
Going for the super deluxe boxset. The first big Queen release for me in 3 years. And i put some money aside for the upcoming Queen album. |
Holly2003 27.08.2014 03:39 |
Really only interested in the content rather than the various formats (although they do look nice), so it's likely to be only the CD and DVD for me. Is the Bluray likely to have more/extra content than the DVD? |
MercurialFreddie 27.08.2014 04:04 |
Yup, getting DVD plus cd "deluxe edition" but ordered separately as DVD + Cd bundle is exclusive to the USA. |
KumoNin 27.08.2014 04:31 |
2CD+DVD. Nothing fancy. |
thomasquinn 32989 27.08.2014 04:43 |
Deluxe set ordered in Canada - same price (or maybe even cheaper) than DVD + 2CD here in The Netherlands. |

Am I eckers like. Can't stand 70's Queen. It's utter crap. Really don't understand why they're bothering releasing something new when they've still got a full Live At Rio boxset to do. And where's the BD release of "Live At Wembley"? Christ, they'll be dishing out Hammy 75 next year no doubt instead of complete versions of "Live in Japan" 82 & 85 :( |
cmsdrums 27.08.2014 06:40 |
I've ordered the deluxe box set, so will have everything apart from the vinyl. Was originally going to just get the blu ray and CDs separately, but I know I'd get a severe case of collector's itchy bum syndrome soon afterwards if I didn't get the box set! I ordered Amazon UK early on at their first price of £113 or so, but they have since reduced this at some point to £70 so I'm happy to report I'll get it for that! |

Delux edition, 2lp and 4lp set. For now..... :) I really think this is a great release and I will support it by buying the lot. |

Fortunately, my wife has a B-day in Sep, so ordered the deluxe box for her. No, it's not a Homer Simpson bowling ball gift, she really is a big Queen fan, and especially the early stuff! :-) The Amazon US price is down to bout 55 dollars now. To get both the Blu Ray and double CD would cost about 35 so it's not much more to get the deluxe box. The US Blu Ray/CD bundle only has the 1 disc Nov CD, so that's not worth it at all. Gotta have the Mar show, too! And 70's Queen is crap?? Fine if you don't care for it, but it's what made them the success they are. Killer Queen, Bo Rhap, WWRY, Champions, etc. are such unique hit songs compared to anything else at the time. And the non-hit album tracks on those first 3 albums are just wonderful, I'm sorry for you if that's really how you feel! |
luthorn 27.08.2014 11:55 |
yes, dvd and cds, i will also wait a few months maybe the price will drop. |

CD + Bluray but Im kind of confused right now. ---- (Slightly off-topic text) I was planning to get the bluray but then I saw 4k TVs really cheap here in Mexico (about 1100 US Dllrs in Walmart) and Im really confused, I know in time all technology becomes cheaper but it seems that 4k tv's are getting cheaper in a very short timeframe so I wonder if a bluray upscaled could be look nice... I dont think QP would release it in any other format in the next few years so, what do you guys think? |
vince73 27.08.2014 13:09 |
Ordered the deluxe one from Queenonline (the only way from Argentina, Beta) The import taxes will kill me. |

Im guessing you bought 2 delux sets because you are not going to unpackage one of them? Im pondering doing that. |

Anyone know why the 2 CD set isn't available for pre-order on Amazon US? All it has are import double CDs or the MP3 download. |

Will buy the blu-ray only. May download TFFMS live. That's about it. I'm tapped and it's a bad year. No extra spending cash after paying for the forum concert |

I don't want to start the debate again, but I'm paying 62$ CAN shipping included on ebay.ca for the Super Deluxe version and in the UK it costs 200$ US. |
bluenile 29.08.2014 12:56 |
I've been debating whether to get the DVD or the BD version. I plan on getting a handful and gifting them to friends who're casual fans. I would prefer the BD version, but me and most my friends are recent graduates who live in temporary apartments by ourselves, so there's a much better chance we could play a DVD with our laptops while a BD would probably be just for collection (for now). Well, the release is very soon and I'll make up my mind by then! (Could have afforded the Deluxe if I didn't spend so much on the current QAL tour... jealous of you guys who're getting it!! XD |
BETA215 29.08.2014 14:03 |
