Hello everybody,
I'm looking for a lossless copy of the audio of Houston 77, the one which someone long time ago extracted and remastered to lpcm, something like this... Thanks

If I extract this with DVD Extractor in wav, will I get a lossless audio or a lossy one?
If we assume that the source audio on this DVD is lossless then you should get it lossless when extracting to wav, I suppose.
A little history lesson guys.
The footage was probably shot by the owner of the venue on NTSC video. The first version which was "leaked" was a very bad looking PAL VHS tape.
The tape suffered from a bad analogue NTSC > PAL conversion, it had a very bad green tint, horribly blended fields, and lots of familiar "video lines". This VHS tape got bootlegged both as DVD with ac3 audio, AND as CD - this CD (from Digital Queen Archives) is the ONLY lossless audio source (unless you get access to some of the VHS tapes). The video sucked, but the audio was excellent. But still the audio was WORSE than on source 2.
The second source appeared a few years ago when a couple of people incl. me received a lovely "gift" from ma certain Queenzoner, a DVD transfer of a low gen PROPERLY TRANSFERRED tape. The video quality is almost excellent, it has correct colours and almost no of the problems of the previous source. The audio quality is slightly better than on source 1, but the only source is the ac3 track from this DVD. NO LOSSLESS AUDIO TRANSFER was done as far as I know (feel free to correct me). ALL NEW RELEASES (incl. bootlegs) COME FROM THIS DVD.
SirGH found an audio problem in this AC3 audio track, and posted a tip how to improve the audio. Many people, including "tommy gun" have done this, and saved the remastered audio as mono PCM. So the audio on these DVDs is PCM, but is sourced from the lossy AC3 track.
Ok, thanks Pittrek. I downloaded your version and I saw it was the BEST available (regarding the video). But the only problem I think is that in each change of chapter there's a little annoying gap... I'm looking for a dvd from "your" source but without these gaps...
