From Brian May.com
Editor: It came to light last night, fans were complaining that both
Believe Music and EMI were deleting their films from Youtube. This has
resulted in some blacked out movie on site here. Brian is aware and is
taking up the case.

So, is there a possibility that the MSG isnt going to be released...?
taking down or removing a video does not mean is gonna be released. For instance, i've had The gig in Argentina up and running since 2011 and this year "they" decided to block it and we have no news of a south America or Buenos Aires Release
This copyright nazi B.S. over the past year is the reason some of my friends have been switching to (or contemplating) sites like Vimeo.
Video game reviewers in particular have been having it rough, the professional ones have been losing a lot of money because of extremely frivolous copyright / takedown claims thanks to the copyright trolls.
I myself have had to fight up to a few very fishy claims, often with success thankfully.
It's extremely unfortunate YouTube's priorities are going the Facebookish way. Google needs to wake up and put a stop to this nonsense.
What happened to the world wide web being a medium to shrink the world, share, express the freedom of your views, people to come together. Its become another government tool to control us, just feed us what they think we should be getting ! Bit off beam I know, but that's my rant for the week !

The web was always about making money, and it still is. Nothing has changed. Anyway, if you want to access these videos, you will find a way, no matter if they're removed from YouTube.
The government doesn't give a crap about Queen videos.
This hardly has to do with government, and more to do with the abusive copyright trolls, some who have direct ties to (or are acting under the orders of) the record labels and the RIAA/MPAA. Please leave the gov't conspiracies out of this topic.
This is the nefarious combination of monopoly/charter and unrestricted capitalism: because a single, or a limited number, of private organizations represent all copyright-holders, they are able to serve their own corporate interests with little or no regard to the interests of those they are supposed to represent or the population at large. There has been a similar outrage over the Dutch version of the RIAA, Buma/Stemra, recently - they are the only organization that is allowed to represent copyright-holders, any copyright-holder is FORCED to let them represent him/her, and they are the only organization that is allowed to collect royalties for air play and the likes. However, a number of copyright holders got suspicious over the royalties they received and, by hook or crook, got a rudimentary investigation up - and it became clear very quickly that the vast majority of collected royalties flowed right into the pockets of a number of composers you can count on the fingers of one hand, all of whom were, purely coincidentally of course, close associates of the boss of Buma/Stemra. Most copyright holders got less than half, sometimes even less than 10%, of what they were entitled to.
Copyright is no longer what it was meant to be - it is now a tool for corporate extortion - more often than not, the profits end up with big businesses whereas the actual artists get little or nothing, they have no way to verify if they are getting what is due to them, and if they don't, they have very little recourse because said big businesses employ huge legal departments that will drag any court case out so that it would be too costly for any individual to afford.
When it became possible for COMPANIES with NO substantial relation to the artists in question to renew copyright on works that were about to enter the public domain, that's when the thorough rottenness of the copyright system became perfectly evident. It should not be possible for anyone but a natural person to hold a copyright.
