I hope this is ok to post here, not really trying to advertise, but wanted to make anyone in the area aware of this show. I was hired to play guitar for it as a substitute, and I'm really looking forward to it. It's about 2 hours of Queen music with a 5 piece rock band and full orchestra.
The singer, Brody Dolyniuk, does a great job at covering Freddie.

The company who does this, Windborne Music, also does similar shows with Led Zeppelin, The Who, Rolling Stones, U2, and the Eagles. Some of you may have seen them before.
If anyone here is in the El Paso area, you might want to check it out. If you go, I'd love to hear what you think!
Edit: Also, on bass for this show will be Danny Miranda.
Cheers,
Steve Z
Just for fun, here's a video someone shot from the front row of the 'Brighton Rock' solo I got to do in this show. The regular guitarist for this does his own solo, then a bit of Keep Yourself Alive. I was having none of that, I had to do Brighton Rock, of course! ;-)
Having to whittle it down to under 4 minutes, and only having a single delay at my disposal, I came up with a bit of my own take on some of the Live Killers version, then into the original studio version. I wished the band could have come back in with me at the end to do the full ending of the song!
Hope you guys enjoy it, I know Bob will! :-) Brighton Rock Solo video
