Probably an excerpt from a gig, which if previously unseen is still killer. If it is an actual 'video' of the song then its the holy grail.
Its probably nothing that hasnt been seen before though, which is the way these things normally work out...
Of course. It's better to be in safe hands. Or do you believe that the person who buys it for that price wil come here the next day and share it for free?
I'm very happy with what QP is releasing and i believe that this film is something they would definitely release if it is for real.
in the description, it says it is footage from the German TV ""Musikshow"
just a quick Question, what was the "Now I'm Here" footage shown at the "Stormtroopers" exhibit? I forget. could it be one and the same??

Of course I would be glad if someone could share it. Honestly i'm quite tired of all this hiding the rare stuff, these things should be seen by all the Queen fans in the world. I've been in the collectors's world for a few years, but now I am quite tired of it and I don't see the point.
Since QP doesn't release the great stuff (except for the Rainbow release) i don't expect something new from them. There are a LOT of incredibile tracks in the vaults, expecially the live shows recordings, and they are something that probally we will never hear with our ears. Is it fair? I think it is not fair.
Well. GhostwithAsmile is the seller, so maybe we should ask him.
He's asking a lot of money for somethinghe hasn't backed up with screengrabs, and I don't believe for one second that he'd sell something like this without already having made a copy...
Maybe just a copy of their Top of the Pops performance from January 75' ?
Edit. The show was actually called "Pop 74"..."Pop 75"...Pop 76"...and so on...don't waste your time on google with "Musikshow" that's a wrong information by the seller.
I would say it's their TOTP performance from January 1975. If that's the case Queen productions could be interested in this. Or maybe they aren't. They have it already but maybe not in this quality.
Price is right if you ask me. 1200+ is normal for things like this.
According to this thread: http://missingepisodes.proboards.com/thread/5911, the Top of the Pops performance is out there and Queen also have a copy of the performance on "45 " in their archives. Hopefully these will get an official release some day.
Would 16mm film be used on a 70s Studio TV programme?
If it were me, I would sell it to QP at a high price but on condition that it gets a FULL public release with no digital butchering which they are quire renouned for!
The price seems ok, I belive the BBC charge about £3K for a three minute pop recording.
