The crowd was loud, enthusastic and very much into it. everyone was singing and clapping along. You can definetly hear this on the recording but it is the atmosphere that was in the arena. I thought Adam did a really good job. No one is Freddie but I still enjoyed his performance. Though this is not my best recording of this year so far it is my favorite show. |

This tour will be pretty well covered Lossless video footage is beginning to make it's way to my inbox so there is more to come from me in the coming weeks, the Glamberts are very willing to share their footage. I'm taking a few days off but the BD's are coming soon. |

Do my ears deceive me or is there a fragment of track 13 from MIH before Procession? |
pittrek 12.07.2014 07:59 |
Well I'm listening to it right now and I like what I hear - Track 13 starts the concert and segues into Procession - Stone Cold Crazy - ROCKS !!! FINALLY !!! Somebody read my critical thread ? :-) Thanks, this is much more enjoyable |

From Brian May.com http://www.brianmay.com/brian/brianssb/brianssbjul14a.html#10 "DALLAS folks – I believe tonight you saw the finest Queen show since 1986. Thanks @glamfamdoc Now I can sleep !" |

Yes the "track 13" is used very well. The house lights are still on and track 13's volume goes up and down. Most people probably don't know the track, but the crowd does engage and there are cheers. As a fan it is really cool to hear it build slowly cuz you know the show is coming. Also it gives this feeling of "Holy fuck, this is really happening. I am about to see Queen!" Then the lights dim and "Procession" starts and it is a typically perfect way Queen starts a show. Btw i love Paul Rodgers and was critical of AL, but this felt more like Queen shows than the Paul Rodgers tours. |

Thank you very much! By the way are Mr. Scully and Ruth Olivier like Cinderella hidden in a castle covered with roses? The queenconcerts.com side is not up to date as it was in the past. regards, W. |

He has said he wasn't going to update until after the tour was over. He's really not interested in this collaboration so he's not following it... |

Thank you so much for posting. I was there. These FLAC's are a great representation of a wonderful night. My fourth QUEEN show. 1980, 1982 (2), 2014. I was hesitant to go with AL on vocals... I would have never forgave myself to have missed it after seeing the show. Adam Lambert is one of the greatest singers on the planet like him or not. IMPRESSIVE !!!! |

I've finished listening to this now. It's a good show but the audio quality is a bit lacking, it's wearing due to a lot of bass boom. I'm now listening to the Madison Square Gardens audio and that is a much more balanced recording and I'm enjoying it a lot more since I'm not wincing at the bass every other song. But if this is what we've got of this show then it's worth having as a permanent record of the night. Thanks. |
