The title is an indirect reference to the Calgary Stampede, for which the Saddledome serves as one of the venues (usually for musical entertainment), and Calgary's renowned cowboy culture as well. |

Are you going to (tape) more shows? |
terraj 30.06.2014 07:16 |
I put all the entire FLAC folder into a 4-part RAR for those people who have problems downloading from torrent. Hope that's okay with you. The links will expire automatically in a few days. Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 ETA: Just wanted to comment about the audio recording: it's fantastic from the sample songs I've heard. It's a bit "warmer" than your previous recording and guitars sound fuller. Nice job! |

Many Thanks Richard. If we club together and buy you some more tickets, will you go to other shows and record? |

Problem is, I have a family of my own with two little ones to take care of. That, and booking time off work less than the required 3 weeks in advance is extremely hard to pull off like that. Otherwise, I totally would. I would however be willing to coordinate among the more established trustworthy users (that are already guaranteed to be going) to share the bootleg gear, so long as the costs are split and shared fairly and each person assumes the risks involved (including replacement of the equipment if lost or irreplaceably seized by security). What say you? |

Thanks very much for the audio... still don't know how you got equipment in :). I'm more of a photographer at shows. I have an amazing zoom lens on my camera that I use without obstructing anyone's view or staring into the viewfinder when I should be enjoying the show. I almost never take video at shows. However, after seeing them in Edmonton, I really came to appreciate the interaction amount BM, RT, AL plus Spike, Rufus and Nigel. I really came to appreciate little things about the interaction -- BM and AL giving each other a respectful bow at the end of WWTLF or the raised eyebrows or smiles on stage as they obviously had fun with the show. I uploaded a bunch of vids and pics on YouTube and Twitter from this show and watched the Glamberts go nuts. They assumed I was a Glambert when I'm really a lifelong Queen fan. It was amusing and a bit weird. Adam Lambert is a really talented dude and they couldn't have found a better stand-in for Freddie --but the mania and comments that Lambert had claimed a song as his own were bizarre. |
