Any chance of a non torrent upload? Haven't found the complete performance on YouTube of all songs individual or not. Like I had feared. The lamberts seldom recorded Brian and Roger. (How sad. They probably took a bathroom break) |

I wonder if that footage was from the big screen feeds (not the screen in the middle of the Q, but the two either side of the stage)? I'm yet to see any video from those, but I suspect the video is from there, mixed with an IEM? It's pretty bass heavy, and Roger is low down. |

We are in 2014 and there's an option to record shows other than PA's, we are no longer in 1986. Say that to many other fans of many other bands that do record IEM's. My question was more of a "getting this out of my chest" thing, A "how no one as done that before for Queen + " if shows of other bands are recorded via IEM and shared between fans. |
Mr.QueenFan 24.06.2014 14:13 |
Someone recorded the Chicago show until the last note of Brian's solo (thank God!). It's in excellent quality. In between there are some songs cut short because his camera stoped every 29 min, so he had to restarted it. It happen with "STL" sadly. But the taper - acording to his replies on the YT videos - is willing to share a Torrent of this. He just doesn't know what it is. I think it would be great for someone to contact him and see if he can upload it to some site, so it can be share here. Since he seems to be an Adam fan i don't think it's a good idea to bring him to Queenzone - for obvious reasons :-) Here are the videos. Enjoy it, it's great: Part 1: link Part 2: link Part 3: link On a side note i just want to say that the live sound of the band is really great. It has nothing to do with the "Stone cold crazy" video posted on Queen YT channel. It's clear on this fan video, that the "raw" Queen sound still exists, and the live version of "SCC" is really enjoyable. Brian's guitar is very proeminent, wich is fantastic. I hope that in the official release, they will not try to make the sound cleaner, but they keep the sound raw, like it is live. |
