So, I was just wondering about other people's opinions regarding the new album that is apparently coming out later this year. I've been thinking about the track listing, and I would, personally, not be opposed to them putting some tracks from the 46664 era on there, but only if Brian or Roger are singing. Also, since it's supposed to be a studio/compilation album, I think this might be a good time to release "No One But You," as people can only get a physical copy of it through GHIII and Queen Rocks, both of which are rather difficult to find (at least in my local stores). Anyway, I thought of some tracks that are known that could be released. Here's what I've come up with. 1. There Must Be More To Life Than This 2. State Of Shock 3. Victory 4. Love Kills 5. The Call (46664) 6. No One But You 7. Dog With A Bone Dog With A Bone is the only song that has been leaked that I think could be great to finally release. As Love Kills was unofficially "confirmed" by Adam Lambert in the Rolling Stone article, I included it in there. So, what do you guys think? Track list aside, what do you think of the idea of a new album? I think a lot of people are fine with the idea, so long as it doesn't become a Queen+ album. Maybe one or two guest vocalists, and some other studio musicians, but other than that, I don't think many are keen on the idea of any other sort of collaboration. I think if David Bowie would contribute some backing or even partial lead vocals, it would be nice. Maybe Brian can get Tony Iommi to be on it? I read that John Deacon's bass is included in the old tapes that they're using, so maybe his return would be "unnecessary" in that sense. Of course, we'd all love for him to come back and play for one final time, but the odds are against us. Just looking for opinions, as QZ has been pretty nuts for a while now, and it's hard to decipher who is being serious and who is just posting to up their post count. Have a good one. |

What about New York New York? "HAVE A NICE DAY" would be a (dare I say it. ...) cute closer. Wasn't there a song they provided musicianship and vocals for ... in the seventies? One that remains unreleased? I read it in an old glossy biography/discography book after the tribute concert. Something with a gospel band. If they could dig THAT up even as a demo it'd be interesting for completists |

Approved by Greg Books. 2. Have A Nice Day: Can be good reworked, and that part "I'm sorry I couldn't be there [...]", can sound like he isn't here, he is recording with the bests in the heaven at his own studio. 3. The song Brian May and Freddie Mercury provided backing vocals, piano and guitar was "Man From Manhattan". They doesn't provided main vocals. 4. Can be Let Me Live? You read it before 1995. Greetings. |

There is absolutely NO chance any of the 46664 songs will be included. There is absolutely NO chance that ALL 3 MJ songs will be included, we can get ONE, if we're really, REALLY "lucky". There is no chance Dog With A Bone can be included. Also don't expect any collaborations (MAYBE we'll get to hear MJ's vocals, because he's dead). They won't share the profits with living people :) Don't forget guys, this is a compilation of BALLADS. What you can expect are remasters / remixes of previously released songs, and maybe 2-3 previously unreleased (but well known) songs. But all of them will be slooooow |

Anyway, I'm sure that Dog With A Bone and Have A Nice Day can't be included. It's only us dreaming. |

BETA215 wrote:Do you have a source for that? Because I read the same claim in several different media, but it was NEVER a direct quote from Brian or Roger, it was always just a media speculation. Of course if Brian said something like that it changes the whole thingpittrek wrote: There is absolutely NO chance any of the 46664 songs will be included. Money money money. From what I heard using vocals of a dead superstar isn't cheap |
