These have been requested again, so here they are. I think these have all been uploaded before, so many of you will have already heard them, but many of them have been tweaked or 'remastered' since their original uploads, so even if you've heard them before, you may wish to check them out again.
I may well revisit one or two of these which I'm not entirely happy with. DSMN has some nice ideas, but was mixed a bit too 'harshly', so doesn't sound all that great, listening to it now, and Killer Queen sounds more like a rough demo than a remix, but some may enjoy it. link link link link
How cool is this?!
I've had a lot of fun tracking down and listening to your remixes over the last couple of years. Lord Fickle mix = quality. Thanks so much for compiling all this. I haven't even opened it yet to see which ones I don't have but I know what I'm going to be doing on my boring work afternoon today.
Thank you very much! I Remember back the good old "Fickle" times of waiting for new mixes........but "I Want It All" and the extended "In My Defence" (you got it from me :-)) are missing, or am I wrong?

Well spotted! I never really liked my IWIA mix, so I think I must have deleted it, as I can't find it anywhere. I've tried several times to do something with the stems, but it never seems to work out right. Maybe I'll have another crack at it when I get some free time.
As for IMD, I was concentrating on Queen stuff, so simply forgot about that one. Yes, I remember you sending me the tracks! I've updated it since I did that original mix, as I didn't like the drum sound on the 'old' version, so I attached 'my' intro onto the 'new' IMD, to make a better (in my opinion) mix. Luckily, I kept the original mix, so have uploaded both, and edited a download link into the original post. :)
Hey, I'd like to hear I Want it All!
I've listened to this a few times through and of course it's great to have them all together. I haven't had the chance to really listen to them properly (loudly) yet unfortunately.
Here's what I have that you didn't include:
A stand alone mix of One Vision which is different than the one that is part of A Beautiful Vision
Heaven For Everyone
We Will Rock You Lullaby (which is REALLY cool)
and
The Show Must Go On
Alternate mixes I have include:
Play the Game (slightly different and w/applause at the end)
Original Death on Two Legs (I LOVE this mix. It was the very first "fan" mix I ever heard and is what got me into this. This mix is longer and features a 'breakdown' before the guitar solo. This is the part that made me go "How the fuck is he doing this...?)
Original Don't Stop Me Now (I dug this one too, until you improved it on your second mix which is MUCH better. That drum breakdown is fucking GODHEAD. Dude, you nailed that. And the beginning of the solo.... Really nice.)
I had the original In My Defense which you just kindly uploaded.
My favorites so far of the batch that I didn't have are:
Need Your Loving and Rock It
and I've always loved your mix of Breakthru.
FANTASTIC stuff! I'm so happy to be able to spin these mixes. Please don't stop.
I'll see if I've got the original Death on Two Legs, H4E and TSMGO, but the reason these weren't uploaded is because they weren't very good, or, as with DOTL, I think the new version is better. I've definitely still got the original DSMN mix, so maybe I'll upload a folder of 'bonus mixes' if / when I can find them all.

Yes, Breakthru is my favourite Queen-track, I always loved the Fickle-Mix and I still use it for my own Queen-compilaions, because I think it's the perfect single-version of it.
It's got the structure of the album version but uses the poppy parts of the extended mix. A perfect 7" !!!!!!!!!!
These are all old mixes which have been requested, some of which (DSMN, OV, and DOTL) I have since updated, and included in the main 'Fickle Archives' folders. Just a few notes on some of the others included here:
Heaven For Everyone is included, but was probably the worst mix I ever did, so I never listen to it now. To be honest, I was dubious about allowing it to see the light of day again, but I guess some may want to hear it.
WWRY / Lullaby was a collaboration with a certain 'Mr Mercury', who, if I recall correctly, provided the 'Silent Night' guitar part. I wouldn't usually have included this in a batch of my mixes, as, it was a 'one off' special request, and it breaks my 'rule' of only containing genuine Queen material. That said, I think this is a nice track, and thanks, once again, to 'Mr Mercury' for the guitar work! There's a few different versions of this, so I've included the best ones.
The Show Must Go On was something I did, twice, but neither version was well received. Version 1 was described as 'pointless', and there were complaints that the drums were too loud the next time I did it (Version 2), so I gave up after that! Both versions are included here. link
I've been an avid fan of your mixes for years, so thank you for putting these out there. In the instance that I may have missed one or two along the way, certainly this will complete my collection. So let me kindly say thank you, your Lordship! :)
Lord Fickle - could you pre-emptively best the upcoming Queen-ified Love Kills, now that we've heard their arrangement live? This is assuming they're going to use Freddie's voice only.
If I correctly understand what you're asking for, it would be impossible as we haven't got any Queen instrumentation for it yet.
If you're talking about mixing versions of the existing Freddie track, I don't know as I'm not really all that familiar with FM's solo stuff, so I don't know what versions are available.
Yeah I was more referring to making a remix at the same tempo and vocal arrangement.
Grafting Brian from other instrumentals would be a bonus.
But if FM solo stuff isn't your thing, mebbe I should throw it open to the group...
Lord Fickle -Would you mind re-posting the Fickle Archives Pt. 1 zip. It appears mediafire has deleted it, (but not the other parts for some reason). Thanks.
