Dear Queen fans, I share with you a work made for you. "Open Your Heart Look Touch and Feel" is a 45 minutes track of Queen & Freddie music. The Track13 is the main source but not only. A lot of bits of tracks you know have been used to make this special mix. Use your best audio equipment to enjoy this very special experience with Queen & Freddie. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPxbS2bfkuo P.S. : sorry to post it on the Serious Discussion, I suppose that more people could hear it... |

This is fu%king incredible. Everyone should give this a listen. Of all the remixes using the Queen multi-tracks (and plenty else - like the first note of the KYA retake @ 7:29), this is by far the most creative thing I've heard done with them yet. The rest of the world will be hard pressed to top this. |

Very interesting and different. I had to do some boring stuff at work today, so I just plugged into your track while working. Thanks! |

Leto, you should really send this to Brian... It is sooo artistically done. Now I am listening to it again, and will probably keep playing it over and over again... :) |

Awesome. Downloaded it and listened to it a couple of times during a couple of very long flights. At times it reminds me of some of the arrangements of The Beatles' LOVE Cirque du Soleil show. Also a bit of the ambience of the Queen Heaven laser show. Better than all of Queen's official remixes, for sure. And it's 90 minutes long. That's a double album! You should definitely email Brian and show him your amazing work. |

Well, I just emailed Brian... I'm afraid of his reaction (if he read my message) due to the copyright thing... We'll see... |

Don't worry about the copyright stuff, they're more lenient these days with stuff like this. Heck, Brian's official site uses videos of their music which people have uploaded! As for me, it's a bit hit and miss. It's mostly well done, but, at times it does feel a bit like there's a lot of random stuff thrown together. Or there'll be a nice passage with some cool elements, then a random guitar plays that doesn't seem to fit. But hey, along with the video, it works well. So, well done :) |
Supersonic_Man89 09.06.2014 08:32 |
Better than Untitled Track on MIH, would have preferred this. Well done. |

Some good reviews here, there and everywhere with "Open Your Heart, Look, Touch and Feel" ! The next step will be a 5.1 mix. In a few months, I suppose ! |

Please let us know what Brian has to say about your amazing work. |

Wha-ha the fuck?! I've said for years that things like this should be done and the idea was always cockblocked by you pieces of shit! Fuck all of you! Not much Queen going on here visually as Freddie Mercury. No wonder John Deacon won't come back you fuck head turds! Otherwise...yeah! It's fucking great! :) |
brians wig 15.06.2014 05:06 |
Hmmm. Not for me I'm afraid. I couldn't even get through it all in one sitting. After persisting for 20 minutes I gave it up as an unlistenable job, but have since come back and done the rest and, to be fair, the latter half from about 27 minutes is better. As a whole, it's that god-awful "track13" with loads of random bits chucked into the mix that simply don't work and make me wonder if you were on an acid trip at the time. Songs fade in at odd moments and then just as quickly fade out again. HOWEVER. Some of the song remixes within that actually work and it's apparant that you know your Queen music inside out and you're skilled enough to re-edit songs without them jarring. With THAT in mind, I'd love to hear a proper full remix of "I Was Born To Love You" utilising the opening and closing piano pieces before the rest of the band grind in, and it sounds like you used the odd outtake in there as well... |

I'm pleased with all these reviews. When the Q+ AL Tour will be over, I will try to contact Brian, but I would be surprised if I will receive an answer. |

Hi, Just a little message to let you know that I have beem luck enough to meet Brian yesterday, after the Queen + AL Paris Show. I had a copy of "Open Your Eyes Look Touch and Feel" on me and I give it to him. If I have news from him, I will inform you ;) For those who don't know what I'm talking about, please, check it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPxbS2bfkuo Sebastien |
ggo1 27.01.2015 11:56 |
I checked it out on Soundcloud, it seems to have disappeared off You Tube, it's very well done, and pleasant to listen to, I did favourite it so I must think I'm going to listen to it again one day. Probably not the resounding review you would have wanted, but I feel the love in it and it's an accomplishment for sure. I much preferred the first half to the 2nd half, more ambient, better flow and less Jarring between songs. I cant imagine how long it must have taken to do. My favourite remix project is A Night at the Hip Hopera, if that helps to put it into perspective. I think Hip Hopera is a work of genius but I imagine quite a few on here would hate it. |

Wohoooo! It's great news, lito! I'm happy for you =) Keep us updated to any news! |

Well... Brian wrote me early this morning. A kind of apporbation from him, and that's a lot ! I'm happy ^^ "Ah thanks Sebastien. Forgive me if I don’t have time to get deeply into it, but I can see you’ve put a lot of love and care into this - and your skills are undeniable. Thanks for sharing. All the best Bri " |
ggo1 28.01.2015 16:04 |
I'm very happy that you got a thank you and not a cease and desist order. I'm not sure Brian would be so accommodating 20 years ago, (But I may be wrong on that) |

I'm glad it went well - must feel pretty validating, even if he didn't have time to listen to the full 40 minutes. |
BETA215 30.01.2015 11:33 |
I must tell you: this mix is great. I'm sure Brian would find 40 minutes to enjoy it. |

Lovely mix! Very original What caught my ear was the (possible) link to the Shawshank Redemption (end scene of the movie mixed in with track 13 from MIH) .... Did I assume this correctly? |

The chord progression in your video (at 43:23 min - 43:35 min, the exact chord change being similar to the Shawshank Redemption ending at 43:30 min ).... Edit: sorry, it is just a coincidence .... |

Brian has thousands of things thrown at him and only invests his time into what he wants to. So for him to react as he did is the highest of compliments. |
