Actually i dont buy it. Freddie knew exactly well in what condition he was.Also he was a brave man.

Freddie was a human being. Even if he put a brave face in public, maybe when he was alone he would cry and that was his right. Maybe what I read was not true, but true or not true, Freddie was entitled to do it.
