'Detectives found the communication while investigating Cobain's death 20 years ago, but have never released it until now.
The note suggests Cobain and the Hole star had fallen out, but it isn't clear if the All Apologies singer had presented it to his wife or not.
It reads: "Do you Kurt Cobain take Courtney Michelle Love to be your lawful shredded wife. even when she's a b**ch with zits (acne) and siphoning all yr (your) money for doping and whoring..."
The note, written on stationery from a San Francisco-area hotel, has a completely different tone to Cobain's suicide note, in which he calls Love a "goddess of a wife" who "sweats ambition and empathy".
A recent review of the case led lawmakers to rule that the King County Medical Examiner's original determination that Cobain's death was a suicide was correct. The rocker shot himself after taking a lethal dose of heroin.'
Your point of view..? Considering all the different theories put forward about his death...
I always assumed that the loser she'd allegedly asked to kill Kurt was responsible for killing him. The guy from whatever other dregs Seattle band it was who wound up being killed on the train tracks shortly after telling that story.
If Kurt had shot himself while alive, I'm almost certain there would have been massive blood spillage.
Seeing as how there wasn't massive blood spillage.
. It would seem that Kurt shot himself AFTER he was dead. ... which would really be incongruous.
The bitch had him killed so he wouldn't quit music and divorce her. ... she needed the meal ticket.
Happens when you're that big. It even happened to Michael Jackson.
Someone wanted his assets.... sad thing is, it's likely that neither will be proven.
Those people in Seattle sure let that phony suicide letter stand up *even with two distinctly different handwriting styles.
Wonder who let that slide.
This new note news prompted me to finally look into this. I always thought the "Kurt was murdered" bit was just a conspiracy theory by someone who thought Courtney was Nirvana's Yoko Ono. Now that I have taken the time to read more about this, boy do I have questions and doubts. Fascinating reading.
