We've all heard the 'Dark Side of the Moon matches up to Wizard of Oz if you mute the film' palava, but personally I just adore the fact that the third Eminem album (Marshall Mathers LP) matches up to the second Aladdin film - if you start the album the moment the flames appear at the start of Return Of Jafar, it runs perfectly in sync - but replace 'Kim' with 'The Kids'. Seriously, if you watch the sync-up with a snarky sense of humour (and know Return Of Jafar very well), you'll realise there's 36 syncing moments in just under 66 minutes! Any others people may have heard of or tested out that you'd like to pitch in with?
Sorry. I was keeping an eye on this thread to hear if anybody had one of those but. ... no.

You might want to apply for a grant to fund electrode studies (mapping wavelength reaction to sound wavelength patterns in order to achieve the aim of your inquiry.)
It's a lot simpler than the electrode studies idea - you just have to be instinctive and know both the album and film very well. And you don't have to be stoned to do it either.

Not really. You mean you've got total recall on sound elements and time?
I've heard about the wizard of oz sync. It was apparently good but unintended.
Matching down beats and subtleties like swooping strings etc. And matching the short album length. .. how tricky would that be?
