Even though we have a huge amount of taped concerts by the band out of the unrealised/not taped gigs which two would you love to have ? Mine would be Sheffield 74 & The Marquee 72. The first because its the closest Queen came to my home town and my dad went and the second because well its the Marquee ! |

I think the most local gig to me was on the Mott The Hoople tour in December 73 at the Central Theatre, in Chatham, Kent. That's a really nice old fashioned, small British theatre - that would have been amazing to see, and to capture on a bootleg. |

Dublin 1979, Queen were on fire for this tour and this show was supposed to be very good going by the reviews. There is strong evidence showing there is a ROIO, I have been looking for a copy for years but sadly have not (yet) come across a copy. |

The Cross - Sheffield 23rd February 1988 The reason being, I have attended over 70 "Queen/Brian May/Roger Taylor/The Cross" concerts in my lifetime & "The Cross - Sheffield 1988" is the only Queen Related gig that I have attended that I don't have a recording of :-( Hopefully one day it will surface, but I doubt it.. |

Offcourse: Queen - Sydney '85 (the show on the 26th) Offcourse we have the footage from the single camera which looks awesome.. But still, it would look bétter pro. Freddie Mercury - Dominion Theater '88 (Because it was the opening night of the "Time" musical) Queen - People For Campucha... I know the show is in existence but i mean, i want it full and restored with great sound and great pics on a DVD. Queen - Knebworth. Last Queen show with Freddie, Shows Freddie in great spirits :) The footage from the big screen is allright actually, but still... It would be cooler to have it on Blu-Ray. (Maybe when Brian/Roger die we'll have some of these...) |

Sunderland locarno, march '74 just as ssor was about to be released. I was sitting in the bastard house a quarter o' mile away, watching friggin' "Colditz", completely unaware of what we were on the cusp of. |

It is the evening of 13 Oktober 1973. Four young British railways in the smoke-filled , makeshift mattresses lined music club " Underground" in Muffendorf the way through the audience to the stage. They are called Roger Taylor, John Deacon, Brian May and Freddie Mercury . As the " Queen" they will write in the coming decades rock history . The appearance in Muffendorf is the first on the European continent . The story sounds to be true almost too fantastic. Of all the tranquil Bad Godesberg , the career of one of the greatest rock bands of all time began. Juppis Shepherd , founder of the " Underground" , confirmed : Exactly as it was. Other well-known bands , " Uriah Heep " for example, the " Scorpions " or " nectar " , appeared in the " Underground" . The latter contented themselves next to the Gage way, with two cases of beer and a dozen paper cups for catering. For comparison, the Scottish rock band " Beggar's Opera " was contractually " eight bottles Liebfrauenmilch , six bottles of fresh orange juice , two liters of mineral water , 36 cans of Coke , twelve cans 7up , four cases of beer , two half bottles of whiskey and two half bottles of brandy " assure . That Juppis Shepherd then missed the opportunity for capturing songs from the concert "Queen" in any form , even decades annoys him later. What remains is next to a couple of old contracts , penalty notices for noise and a few yellowed concert posters memory. Jürgen Künz , journalist from Cologne, is now trying to reconstruct the events surrounding the first concert of "Queen " in the " Underground" . For a publication he is looking for witnesses who have seen the appearance or were possibly involved in the organization. You can by calling (0221) 9320484 or contact by e -mail to queen1973@netcologne.de directly with Jürgen Künz in conjunction . "Who was AT the first Queen concert" should the first question be. |

I'd love to have anything from their 1970-1972 gigs, or the complete Ibex gig from Liverpool 69,including the encores where Ibex were joined by Brian and Roger. Or the Hectics show, despite it being in low quality. Maybe also a recording of bands like Opposition/Art or Sour Milk Sea? |

That looks like a Google translate-translation, which really isn't that great in places. Here's my attempt, hope it'll help: Muffendorfer Underground: Who was at the first Queen-concert? Muffendorf. It's the evening of October 13, 1974. Four young Englishmen are making their way through the crowd and to the stage in the smoky music club "Underground", lined with mattresses in a stopgap-way. They are called Roger Taylor, John Deacon, Brian May and Freddie Mercury. As 'Queen', they'll make rock-history in the coming decades. The show in Muffendorf is their first on the European continent. The story sounds almost too good to be true. In tranquil Bad Godesberg of all places the career of one of the greatest rock bands of all times got started. Jupi Schäfer, founder of "Underground", confirms: that's exactly how it was. Other well-known bands, "Uriah Heep", for instance, "The Scorpions" and "Nektar" also performed at the "Underground". Last-named contented themselves with, aside from the pay, two casks of beer and a dozen paper cups for catering. To compare: the Scottish rock-band "Beggar's Opera" assured itself contractually of "eight bottles of Liebfrauenmilch [a German white wine], six bottles of fresh orange juice, two liters of mineral water, 36 cans of Coca-Cola, twelve cans of 7-Up, four casks of beer, two half-bottles of whisky and two half-bottles of brandy". That Jupi Schäfer missed the opportunity to record the concert of "Queen" in any form back then still annoys him decades later. All that is left in memorial are a few old contracts, notices of fines for noise pollution and a few yellowed concert posters. Jürgen Künz, journalist from Cologne, is now attempting to reconstruct the events surrounding that first concert by "Queen" in the "Underground". For a publication, he is now looking for contemporary witnesses who experienced the concert or, where possible, were involved in the organization.
