Very nice! I am sorry you have to sell. Hope you get some serious cash for it. |

After all these years it is indeed painful to sell some of this stuff but times are hard and I have to do what I can. |

Not me, I have a cart on Amazon going with a little over $100 on it. It would be nice to get a few inputs from those more knowledgable than I. 1. Greatest Hits 1,2 & 3 The Platinum Collection with autorip? 2. Queen II 3. Barcelona $13.98 4. Sheer Heart Attack $13.98 4. Made In Heaven 5. Works Am I being too redundant with the greatest hits I, II & III possibly covering one or two of the others? Thanks. 5. |

By the way, I should have mentioned this to previous inquiries, the prices I quoted are not frozen in place, I am open to negotiation. |

I should also state that I don't do the paypal thing. Western Union is my preferred way of getting payment for whatever items you might be interested in. |

would it actually make a difference to people if paypal was involved? in other words, is there something you would have bought but decided against it because you couldn't use paypal? |
SkyeTV 11.03.2014 14:30 |
Buyer protection, Michael. Paypal offers protection in the case of items not being received or as described. I wouldn't suggest for a moment that you'd scam anyone, but WU doesn't protect buyers from scammers. Once the money is gone, it's gone. |
Apocalipsis_Darko 11.03.2014 18:08 |
Michael is a great seller. I bough him 4 records and perfect. 7 days only USA-Spain. |
SkyeTV 12.03.2014 14:16 |
I wouldn't dispute it for a moment, Mr. Darko, but he asked if it would make a difference to people if he accepted paypal, and what the benefits of paypal were over WU. I think people would feel safer with paypal - that is, people who are seeing his 'for sale' page outwith this site. Just a little advice, of course he's the seller so can set the terms, but it may help if he accepted PP. |
Apocalipsis_Darko 12.03.2014 16:02 |
Yes, is true Skye TV. I preffer to buy by paypal, but in this case, I accept this kind of shipment. |

For what it matters.... I purchased two items from Michael this week. I made the Western Union payment on Sunday night. He received payment on Monday. The items arrived today (Wednesday). All items were in really nice condition. Michael was friendly and patient throughout the whole process. I recommend him as a seller. |
Michael Allred 12.03.2014 21:32 |
Thank you kind sir |

^^ Ditto. I bought a book from Michael and had it in my hands in no time. Good communication through the whole process. Sorry to sound like ebay feedback.... |
Apocalipsis_Darko 13.03.2014 12:36 |
It is true. I haven't being paid at the end of the month and Michael wait and reserve me the records. A gentleman. |
Michael Allred 14.03.2014 06:01 |
First thanks to everyone for the kind words. Second I have now setup a paypal account. I will say that my preference I still Western Union because it's faster and I don't get charged any fees BUT for those who feel more comfortable with paypal for whatever reason that is now an option. |
Michael Allred 19.03.2014 11:19 |
I'm even selling the Queen ultimate collection (or "Queen cabinet" if you prefer.) |
The Real Wizard 19.03.2014 14:28 |
I have also dealt with Mr Allred with excellent results. I tried Western Union a couple times and the transfer wouldn't go through, so we have brought him into the wonderful world of PayPal. He is a lovely gent, and someone you'll be happy to deal with. Grab what few items are left ! |
Michael Allred 30.04.2014 08:31 |
sale still ongoing. please look at the link provided to see if you are interested in anything. |
Michael Allred 11.06.2014 09:11 |
The Crown Jewels box set for sale The Ultimate Collection aka Queen cabinet for sale (all 20 picture disc cds in that lovely case) for sale amongst other items. Will gladly negotiate prices for those and other items I still have for sale, instead of just quoting prices we can barter I think. link and browse folks! |
Michael Allred 30.06.2014 22:42 |
Please note as I have gotten a few messages from some who are confused, ONLY the items that have "for sale" next to them are the ones actually for sale. if it is unmarked then it is not for sale. |

Michael Allred wrote: would it actually make a difference to people if paypal was involved? in other words, is there something you would have bought but decided against it because you couldn't use paypal?Banks and other organizations that deal with international payments in my country (The Netherlands) actively call on people NOT to use Western Union because your transactions aren't protected in any way. Western Union ITSELF advises people not to use its service to send money to anyone you haven't met in person, AND there are serious, and partially substantiated, concerns that Western Union gives transaction data and personal information for every transaction to the American intelligence services. Furthermore, it is THE most frequently used payment-system among scammers. So I would NEVER buy anything if I had to pay for it with Western Union, and have in practice decided not to make a purchase because the seller wanted payment by Western Union several times. It is an outmoded system, extremely vulnerable to abuse and run by a company that has a sketchy reputation for privacy at best. I'll take an international bank transfer over Western Union any day of the week. |

Had another look at the list, Michael. The things I wanted from before are gone, unfortunately. But as a bit of advice, I'd say that it would be best to link to a list that only has the things you want to sell - not a complete list of your collection. Grading your items may help too. |
RafaelS 01.07.2014 18:50 |
How does it work to sell stuff? I want myself to sell Queen stuff but ebay is too complicated. Can somebody give me some cues on how to proceed, how to decide the shipping cost, etc. If it can't be discussed publicly, then just PM. Any help would be appreciated. I'm in Canada by the way. |

I'll take an international bank transfer over Western Union any day of the week. While I can and have used paypal to accept payment from folks, it's an absolute last resort for several reasons. 1) It takes days to clear. 2) paypal charges me money to use it's "service." I don't know about you but I don't enjoy losing money in a transaction. The only way not to would be to add more money to the total the buyer is sending to cover that cost which I don't think either side would enjoy. Western Union is immediate, no waiting. The sooner I get the payment, the sooner I mail out the merchandise. Basically how it went with me was I picked up the money at WU, got the packing material needed to mail out the items then went straight to the post office. As soon as I got back to my car I used my phone to message the buyer that it was mailed out and provided the tracking number(s) for the package. All in all, from the moment I picked up the money, it took less than half an hour to mail the item(s) out to the buyer. Very quick and easy. Now the banks in your country may advise against it and I cannot speak for every person using WU for these kind of transactions but as you can read from those who have bought from me using WU, I think you'd see they are happy with the outcome. As for privacy concerns, you truly think paypal is not and would not be subject to the same issues you claim WU has faced? |

I purchased multiple Items from Michael this week. All items were as advertised and in excellent condition. We used Western Union to transfer the money. Michael mailed the items promptly by USPS priority mail. Items were carefully packaged in bubble wrap to eliminate any damage during transport. Good prices, good merchandise, and excellent customer service. He is a (Queen) scholar and a gentleman. Do not hesitate to do business with him if you spot something of interest. Sorry to see anyone unload a collection but happy to gain the items. Best Wishes for Mr. Allred - Steve R. |
