Stupid thread for a bit of light hearted fun! So whats your most prized queen related item? I mean the thing that means tbe most to you like for example a signed lp, a ticket stub, one of rogers sticks or even a memory of a gig you attended that means a lot to you. Try and post pics of your items! ;-) |

This forum and whole website is ridiculous. The poster asked a fair and honest question and to get these sorts of replies is rude. Shame. Show some class people. Queenzone has lost all class. In fairness to the original poster ... My most prizes Queen related possessions range from an original UK Bohemian Rhapsody picture sleeve to a couple of Brian May's own sixpence coins. |

^ I think in my case it's true...the most worth/cost is "being a fan" itself. This is just the content of one of my files.... I have five boxes filled with files like this, snippets, posters and other stuff. ...some of my Queen stuff is still in possession of my ex-wife... Prices varies and depents on what someone is willing to pay so....(not for sale) |

^ @ reid - the topic starter now has 6 replies, 5 of which are serious and the other a joke which was not intended to be rude to Crazy Duck. Scollins isn't a troll - he is a serious Queen fan, and I've seen him at many a Queen related show in Glasgow over the years. Chill :) There are a few trolls on here that do lower the tone, however to say that QZ has lost all class is a bit of a shame. To say the forum and website is ridiculous is total bull - there's plenty of serious discussion here, notably of late the discussions regarding Silver Salmon, the 7th December '74 concert in Germany, the fanthology research, archive reports from early shows, heavy discussion on what may have been Freddie's final vocals and some strong research into the errors on Roger's "The Lot". Apart from that we have a huge sharing community where a number of rare live shows and upgrades have come to light. Then, over in "Personal", we're even getting some awesome creative writing. So, c'mon - play fair. Anyway, on topic: there are four items I have in particular that hold a special place in my heart, and are all equally as important - my Freddie Mercury 10CD/2DVD boxset I was given by my parents for my 20th birthday, a BM Red Special they gave me for my 30th, my signed NATO deluxe from when I met Brian in 2011 and the photo taken with me and Brian from that same night. |

My prized items are as follows: 1977 Summer Tour program autographed by all 4 members to my brother... but I have possession of. 1978 Spring Tour program autographed by all 4 members to me. Both programs were obtained by my cousin Joe who was Queen's lighting director at the time. About 2 years ago I found and made contact with all 3 belly dancers that performed at the LA gig on 12/22/77. Shira, Stasha and Denise. Stasha is the one that is seen dancing with Freddie in most photos from that gig. All 3 ladies are alive and well and living in California. Stasha still dances at Middle Eastern supper clubs in the San Francisco area. I sent my 1978 program to California where all 3 signed it for me. I'm still friendly with the girls. Especially Denise! My other prized item is an autographed original copy of Astounding Science Fiction from Frank Kelly Freas. I was an e-mail buddy of his wife about 13 years ago and she got him to sign my copy. |

Ticket stub, autographed by Brian May after the Another World concert in Oslo, 1998, met him after the show. Watched the We Will Rock You musical in London in 2010, suddenly Brian May and Roger Taylor appeared, and played the end of Bohemian Rhapsody. Flash Gordon and A Night at the Opera LP's autographed by Brian May and Roger Taylor after the We Will Rock You musical-opening in Oslo, 20??. It's hard to pick out favourites among the (quite) normal releases, but these stands out, I think: Queen's First EP Las Palabras de Amore (7") There Must Be More To Life Than This (7") The Miracle (7", hologram edition) Heaven for Everyone (promo CD single) The Freddie Mercury Solo Collection Freddie Mercury - The Great Pretender (DVD) Queen I (LP - UK and US) Queen II (LP) A Day at the Races (LP) At the Beeb (LP) Innuendo (LP) Live Killers (LP) Mr. Bad Guy (LP) Barcelona (LP) Fun in Space (LP) Made in Heaven (LP) |

I have a drumstick, played with by Roger and signed by Roger. I got it either at the final full Cross gig in Gosport in 93, or at his solo performance the year after, I can't remember which. If anybody can remember which of these gigs he did a signing session in a tent afterwards, it was that gig. |
badboybez 27.01.2014 05:15 |
Signed Live Killers cassette by all 4 when I met them at Maine Road in 1986 |

- ANATO 30th anniversary vinyl signed by Roger & Brian in 2008; and the photo I took with Roger after he signed. My best day as a Queen fan; a dream come true ! - the KILLER QUEEN book by Mick Rock. Signed by him and Brian. Perhaps the most beautiful item in the entire Queen catalogue. It was a gift from my girlfriend and I was really shocked! - yep, the FM Solo boxset. I was so excited when it was released, and indeed it's a beauty as well. - and I am specially fond of my 7" singles collection; most specially of the spanish ones with those exclusive sleeves and "translated" titles (Killer Queen, YAMBF, TYMD, Mustapha, etc etc etc). The Japanese ones are cool as well. |
pestgrid 27.01.2014 06:48 |
Original signed 12' of the Miracle single.....not the reprinted version that was made of about 5000 copies, but the original they came from.... |
master marathon runner 27.01.2014 12:33 |
My photo album with pics of all 7 of the live gigs, I attended, plus the programmes, and tickets. "sounds" & " melody maker" editions from '75 featuring "rhapsody in silk shorts' tour reports among others. And I'm quite attached to my belt buckle I accquired on e bay a couple o' years ago, like the one near the front of the Phil Sutcliffe book.(the crowned lion) And of course my queen memories, I value tremendously, that's why I don't clamour and demand every last , desperate iota of this or that like the desperados on this site. We've done very well thankyou very much. |

A few come to mind: - My Brian May signed ticket for the Prague gig in 2005. - The toor book with the signatures of all the band, except Paul Rodgers - My "banned" Made in Heaven Mexican CDs (I've got two) with the original version of "Let me Live". Hard to come by. I still remember the first time I heard track 3 on this CD. Around '97-98 in my cousin's house. It was her CD. I was floored when I heard the different intro. - My Burns "Red Special" guitar - Several 7 inch singles I like... Japanese "Keep yourself alive", Portuguese "Somebody to love", Yugoslavian "You're my best friend" - A Czech purple vinyl LP of "Queen"... I don't care if it's official or not. It looks gorgeous! - Freddie Mercury Solo Collection .... aaaaand... Roger's "The Lot" ... Took me a while to get it delivered but luckily it was the fixed version. |

My Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert T-shirt and my backstage pass from the BTTL Brian May tour (with framed autographed picture). |
NCC1701Q 27.01.2014 23:29 |
I guess mine is a personalized and autographed picture of me with Brian, which was taken at a lunch for competition-winners around the release of Another World. I met him backstage a few months later at a concert (another competition prize) and he signed the picture and personalized it ("to ...."). I remember him being very friendly at both occasions. |

- My guitar, played and signed by Brian... I once won "private guitar lessons" with him back in '98...without a doubt one of my most treasured memories ever. - all original vinyl singles, including rare ones like the french "One Year Of Love" 12" and "Strange Frontier" signed by RT. |

my hand numbered bo rhap blue :) |
Thistle 28.01.2014 16:14 |
^ I had one of those, as well as an unnumbered - but both are gone. I also had an "Innuendo" RIAA award signed by all four members - but that, too, is gone (needed the cash and selling was pretty much my only option). That's why I treasure my other things so much :) |
brENsKi 28.01.2014 16:22 |
I have a boxful of Freddie's completely unused Durex...kinda ironic eh? |

Here's my most prized items In y2k I started building my second red special this one was to have a trem. I was not computer literate and with no internet it was difficult. I wrote to brian asking for advice and he sent me a sig ed photo , letter answering a couple of questions and a diagram from pete malandrone showing the workings of brians tremolo. I was very happy!!:-) |

I've got Roger's autograph on a concert ticket, that I obtained myself outside the venue. What I like about it is that it's ticket number 0001. Also a couple of Columbian coloured vinyls, which I rather like. |
Saint Jiub 29.01.2014 22:14 |
A "RockStock" program signed by Brian from when he opened his world tour of Another World in the US. A Breakthru convention Queen Trivia award signed by John, Roger and Brian. My Life Has Been Saved CD single (containing 3 B-sides) that bought I by chance in 1989 while browsing in an independent record store. |

Probably just the Scandal CD-promo containing Hijack My Heart, Stealin' and My Life Has Been Saved as b-sides. |
malicedoom 31.01.2014 08:02 |
Ah, OK. The one I keep seeing referred to as 'USA - Withdrawn' probably - pretty rare. Seen it on eBay for $800 at times. Also, just wanted to join in on commenting on Crazy Duck's post and awesome collectable. Freakin' incredible. Bravo. |
