No more updates, no more topics, no more interesting pictures. I think Queenzone is dead. |

There are no more of anything you mentioned, just the same old shite over and over and over again.... |

Isn't it obvious that there's really not much to be updated on a demanding daily basis. The only thing that gets frequent use is the forum. People tend to be quick at posting news updates whenever they're forthcoming. Regarding projects. Just gotta wait. Same as it ever was, same as it ever was. OR just read Brian's soapbox |

Actually, I'd say the forum has been pretty decent these past few weeks. The trolling seems to have disappeared in favour of real conversation. |

^^^ Oh...they will return... I have noticed a "cool down" of a lot of (former)Queen fans, not just on QZ. Some items on ebay didn't sale despite a cheap or a regular price. A "box of trix" didn't sale for 40 Euro...the sellers second attemp ends up by 44 Euro,...only two bidders !!! Eight Queen VHS didn't sale for 10 Euros and so on...seems like we are a dying breed :) |

The forum is good and hugely informative. Love the humor. |

VHS is severely outdated. Even as a collectors item. How many besides rare promos are actually worth collecting when hd versions of most of their videos are available a click away? I'm not even certain how long the charge on the magnetic tape lasts. It's a godsend that so many fans upload their recordings on various sites. Particularly international tv appearances/interviews |

^^^ Hell yeah...I have heard about that VHS is outdated :)... |

I think the hardcore Queen fans like ourselves have almost lost all hope of interesting possible releases,eg Rainbow. All we get nowadays for the most part is Kerry Ellis badgers and We will rock you news. However, just watch the 'closet' fans reappear when/if the new studio album is released.I recall 1991 when Freddie died, everyone seemed to be a Queen fan.Obviously the new album won't bring Freddie back, but it will definitely increase the interest in the band again. Budapest was great, but everyone, including hardcore fans and 'closet' fans are tired of re re releases of 80's concerts now,IMO. |

To keep the spirit alive, some new questions which we haven't heard before: - What is your favorite Queen song? - Is there a full video recording of Knebworth? - Will we ever get a Queen Anthology? - Which 70's must be released? Really looking forward for your answers... Ehhh... Welll... Right... Another serious question: How many different cd releases of Fun on Earth are released? I know EU, Russia and Japan. Any more? |

musicland munich wrote: ^^^ Hell yeah...I have heard about that VHS is outdated :)...Yet it is on old VHS tapes that the most interesting TV appearances and interviews are held by fans. Of course, most of these fans are now 40+ and have lost interest. |

Particularly international tv appearances/interviewsI can't agree. VHS can (and IS) still very useful. Most of the UNOFFICIAL Queen videos are stored on tapes. Only 2 Queen concerts are released on Bluray (and I'm not sure right now if ANY promo videos are), so unless you're talking about the upconverted youtube videos you're not correct |

When will they 'officially' release the Queen concerts from the 1970's? |

Where else did that brilliant TV report from Munich 79 with six songs come from? |

^^^true When "Greatest Video Hits 3" will be released ? "Greatest Flix 3" was absolutly enough to me and can be seen as one of those dissapointing releases.. |

I think qz ain't got half as many turds as it used to. I remember I signed up a few years ago and found it such an intimidating vipers nest that I gave up! It was like you had to be so careful what you posted and how you even spelt it coz if you got it wrong you'd get the piss ripped out of you. Since iv re joined iv found it a much more relaxed place and much more welcoming for new comers. Yes your always gonna get periods on qz when nothing much happens but we always find something to discuss or share and It always gives us a laugh to see the questions like"where's john deacon" or the bo rap about aids thing but I guess thats always gonna happen on here. I think the main thing is to keep the trouble makers off qz and don't feed em. (Like what iv just done with this post) |
