Just reading an old interview with Pete Malandrone at QOL from 2011.
Amongst a list of of things that he has done whilst working for Brian, he lists "met Michael Jackson".
Now, this could be at any time during his employment since approx 1994, and I'm guessing that it was probably solely at Liza Minnelli's wedding, but just thought I'd check if Brian had (with Pete in tow) ever met up with Michael in a professional capacity to discuss the FM/MJ tracks, and the Queen work on them?
Incidentally, I wonder if Bri took the chance at the wedding to discuss those tracks with MJ?!?

If what Brian says is anything to go by then NO.
why do i say this? Because until Sept last year Brian "wasn't even aware" they had these FM/MJ tracks in the archive
I may be wrong, but have a distant memory of rumours of Brian and Roger meeting Jackson in a studio in the early 2000's. I don't ever recall anything bring confirmed though.

Whilst he also said in a recent US interview that that 'some of the tapes they (FM & MJ) used had us (Queen) on as well'.
His memory/truth filter is a bit shot isn't it?!!
Well, there is a photo of John,Freddie and Michael - you can find it easily anywhere.Judging by the look of them ,I would say that it is was taken in 1982 ,which probably means that it was taken before/after the Queen show,as Michael attended their concerts during that time.Perhaps Brian met Michael at the same time?
the photo is from L.A. Forum, The Game Us Tour, so I can imagine Brian and Roger meet Michael Jackson then.
There is also a video about that gig, with Michael Jackson, before Queen went to the stage walking.
^ that occasion with Michael in blue jacket and the video you're talking about is definately from Hot Space US tour at the LA Forum.
There are also black&white pictures with Jackson meeting the band (also picture with him and Brian), now that looks like 1980.
Oh, sorry by my mistake. i though was The Game tour.
Can you share the pictures with Brian or Roger? I only see with Freddie and John, Freddie and Peter Hince...
