Lighting a candle for Freddie's exquisite art in music, in movement, and in life. May his beautiful spirit inspire forever. |

We were as blessed to have him as we are saddened to have lost him. To the greatest ever star to have graced music: forever in our hearts and missed dearly. |

When I was 9 years old, Freddie died. That day I lost my child, my first and possible unique idol...Thanks for all you gave us, and still give, with your voice. I hope you are in the lap of the Gods. Emotional video. |

I was at a disco 22 years ago and found out via a local radio station next morning. I took 3 days off work. Well as a tribute I've decided from now this is the day I put my Xmas tree up with a little angel on top with Freddie's face on it lol. |

My sympathy and thoughts go out to Mrs. Jer Bulsara today on the anniversary of the worst day of her life. Freddie is in the lap of the Gods, but Jer Bulsara still has to endure her loss here... I hope that knowing how much the world loves her son and will always remember him gives her a smidgen of peace. |

So many years have passed, and I still get so sad this time of year. Freddie wasn't my favorite member of Queen, but I still miss him so much. Damn it! Freddie should have lived to be one of those aging rockers, still proving he's still got it. Then with his hair all gray, or gone, he should have been sitting in his rocking chair, reminiscing of the "good old days, darling." I still remember you Freddie, you are the greatest showman of rock. I still love you. |

Freddie, one of a kind for sure. I am in awe of the way he still affects people to this day...and certainly will for years to come. I knew of Queen back in the day and liked them but they didn't get under my skin until recent years. Never a week goes by that I don't have a little Queen or Freddie in my life! Always lifts me up. For this I'm forever thankful. |

Wearing a Queen T-shirt to commerate today - and graced a special smile when I heard The Great Pretender on Absolute Radio. I have a sneaking suspicion the DJ was paying tribute. |

When freddie died it's been 2 years since I was listening to Queen,I remember a friend in school told me about it in the morning, later I saw it on the news, back then I couldn't realize much, now I believe that Freddie belongs in a very small club of people who just couldn't fade away....they had to explode like a supernova,to burn out, that's the category of true superstars |
