Finally folks, here it is. The soundboard recording from the duet between Freddie & Cliff in the best quality there is. Given to me by a good friend and also a person who lives for Queen. A emotional track since it was the last live performance Freddie did. Recorded on the 14th of april 1988. This was done for the musical Time which Freddie recorded a song for. Enjoy this crystal clear version because it's the best there is and will be i guess. It's a wav file and nothing has been altered. link |

To me it sounds exactly like the version from Peter Freestone that has been out since 2001. Even the track length is the same. |
MrFunster 19.11.2013 04:09 |
The more I listen to it , the better it sounds ..... to me it's almost WAV quality. I was wondering if Freddie did record this track that time with Cliff in the studio. Idea for a niew Queen album. I hope In My Defence will also be shared on this forum very soon. Thank you so much, again ! |
DJGreg 19.11.2013 04:33 |
Mr. Scully wrote: To me it sounds exactly like the version from Peter Freestone that has been out since 2001. Even the track length is the same.Bullshit. In that version was fucking clipping in amount with awful compression, you can see that in any audio editing software, so just don't be an ass. |
MrFunster 19.11.2013 04:51 |
Very often I think, normal communication isn't possible on this forum..... even with a subject like this ! Let 's pretend the new queen album gets an official release somewhere next year: Response at Queenzone forum will consists of fuck, bad idea, less good songs, i hate MJ (or duets), still there isn't a queen box, bad english writing, stupid name of tracks, you are a ashhole and so on , and so on Isn't it time for some positive response, I believe the new queen album will come definitely ! (I know not everything is positive , but lets make the best of it) |
dave76 19.11.2013 06:00 |
I agree with you. Let's hope for the best and the thought of maybe a "made in heaven 2" project makes me exciting. |

Im agreed with MrFunster. Everything and 95% of the people are so negative. From slagging off everything that's released to picking up on every word someone writes. It seems like everyone is an expert on here with no real qualifications other than they like Queen. Let's all just cheer up a bit yeah? |

To clarify: this is a GREAT share, and it is much better than the one posted HERE before. However, some of us already had heard it in this quality VIA OTHER SOURCES. I'm grateful because, although I had it in this quality already, it cut out right as the song ended and didn't continue to the encore/reprisal or whatever you'd refer to it as. Also, Born To Rock AND In My Defence DO exist in soundboard quality. That's definite, because I've heard them for myself, although I do not own them - otherwise I'd share. I last heard them around 2001-2002. |
