Hello everybody on the forum!
I've heard somewhere that there were 30 songs written for the The Game album, and there were plans to release a double album. Is it rue?
Thanks for any info.
GT, Can you confirm that the band/management have clearly confirmed there were never any plans for a double album for 'The Game'.
There has been posts here recently from someone very much in the Queen 'camp' at that time who says otherwise. Yes, this could be poppycock, but he swears by his own first hand evidence which was contemporaneous as he was there at the time, as opposed to the contrary view you now confirm.
If you can confirm that you have been told this by the band, this will give us real weight to confirm this.
Thanks in advance.
(Ps - hope you're impressed that I didn't ask how many tracks there are then!!)
cmsdrums, re:

I fail to see the window open for further questioning about this. Your other poster hasn't ever given any exidence to prove his claims over and above what we knew before he made them so cellars of salt were always required in tandem with his posts. Unsurprisingly, that poster also seems to have disappeared.......

To be fair, Brian's memory regarding the band's history is very sketchy at times, and at the Stormtroopers In Stilletos exhibition GB was responsible for, he had a wall mural about 20 feet long and 6 feet high saying that Bohemian Rhapsody was on the Queen II album, so whilst I'm happy to have final confirmation as to where GT got this info, his simply saying it was never planned as a double album isn't 'definitive' - to ask for reiteration of where that fact comes from isn't too much of an unnecessary question to me! :-)

Not to mention GT once claimed IABD's vocals came from late 80's or early 90's, so he's capable of making mistakes as well.
