Probably should have posted this sooner, but I've been in London the past couple days beginning a 16-day tour of Europe. It's a bunch of high school band/choir kids going around, performing music, and looking at cool stuff. Tomorrow we'll be in Paris, and later we'll be stopping in Crans-Montana, Switzerland (seeing the Freddie statue!); Venice, Italy; and a few places in Austria and Germany.
Having lots of fun so far. Just wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions for something to do (although unfortunately I'm mostly at the mercy of the adult guides) and seeing if anyone lived nearby and wanted to check us out. The shows are a good time, and it would be cool to possibly chat w/a QZer for a couple minutes
Brian May performs at the Montreux Jazz Festival, I think on July 19. Would be cool if you had a chance to see him. I post this from Klagenfurt, Austria where Brian and KE perform tonight!
@YZ: Wow, did not know that! The 19th is when we are driving from Paris to Crans-Montana. That would sort of be in the way, but it seems like that will be an all day drive. I could ask to go there, but as I said I'm kind of at the mercy of the adult guides and they've got a pretty strict schedule (I wanted to check out Abbey Road, but noooooo). I'll see, but that's probably a no, which makes me sad. Just once I'd like to see Brian and/or Roger live.
We'll be performing in Innsbruck, Austria and Dachau, Germany. Where do you live, Barb?
