Opening act for Guns and Roses.
I had nose bleed seats (The Coliseum no longer exists)
I used a simple cassette walkman. Sound is distant, but okay.
This tape has been sitting for 20 years, Never traded or copied. Waiting for the day I'd get to it.
Finally after a few people nudged me to dig it out. I finally decided to get it transferred.
Most of the time i give good reviews about shows i upload on Dime. But not this time.
I personally didn't care much for Brian post Queen.
i found his show to lack anything that could really stimulate and rock the audience.
Most of the youngesters where there to see The mighty G n' R.
I was only 24 at the time and found Brian's show pretty much bored the snot out of me and
when he was half way into the fourth song, where the back up singers started yelling/screaming on stage.
well... It was just weird and confusing and really killed the vibe for me and most of the
people around me were kinda dumbfounded as to what was going on.
Needless to say , when G n R finally came on, it was a warm welcome.
There isn't much Brian May on Dime, so some of you Dimers will be interested.
I also have Hartford from 3 days later. along with both GnR shows.
The tracking might be a little off on 1 or 2 songs. and the end of track 08 is cut off.
