Hello Queenzoners ! Everybody ok ?
I was reviewing the concert of the band of the (1st night - 12:01.85) at Rock in Rio, and I disagree with fans that it was a poor performance of the band. Of course, the sound of the drumkit Roger was horrible, he must have regretted using it on the Works tour
Taking off this point, the band showed great performances of several songs as:
- Tear it up (opening the show with a fantastic energy and hot)
- It's a hard life (for me the best version ever played, very passional, especially with the falsetos of Freddie !)
- Somebody to love (great redemption of Freddie, one of the best performances of this on the tour)
- Medley of Seven seas of Rhye, Liar and Keep yoursel alive (no doubt, a great presentation, everyone in the band in perfect harmony and backing vocals.
- Love of my life ( very emotional and excellent performance by Brian and Freddie with all that flawless atmosphere audience singing together)
- Hammer to fall (well played and very good meshing with everybody in the band and powerfull beat)
- Another one Bites de Dust (Freddie was very inspired and in pure ecstasy presenting a unique and excellent performance. Maybe the only song that "worked", combined with the drumkit Roger in this gig.
- Radio Ga Ga (with Freddie announcing the music, hot version and all the crowd enjoynig the song)
- I want to break free (the best ever played for me ! Freddie was impeccable vocals and vestment too, hehe
- We will rock you (one of the strongest points of the show, great atmosphere around music and the whole audience enjoying together. And it is worth emphasizing the Deaky accompanying in your bass the heavy and long beat of the music)
WHAT YOU THINK and which ones are your opinions of each version of the songs played in this legendary show overall ???
I also rate this show very highly!
Somebody To Love is on par for me with some versions of Freddie's voice golden era ('80-'82), the intro to the song deserves the best words.
It's A Hard Life is on my top-3 list of live versions, with the 1st Brussels night and Tokyo 09/05/85 (and I don't care about the words forgotten :).
Also look at Freddie while delivering Another one bites the dust - he is full of top energy, vigor and passion.
Oh, and Love Is My Life is so good thanks to the audience ))

yes. of course. that's what makes everyone's "all time great list of concerts" -the singer forgetting the words, and another song only being rescued thanks to the audience.
commenting on this show, does anyone here could share in Queenzone the best source available in DVD format ??
Please, will be much appreciated for many fans here :)
