Hello
I have quite a few LP's some of which I know are quite collectible such as Rocks, Live at Wembley 86, GH III, Made in Heaven.
Where would be the best place to sell these and would I be able to get a rough idea of what they are worth from members on here?
Regards
Daniel
Hi Daniel, hope you are well?
there are many roads you can take here: you can advertise them for sale right here on QZ; you can do the obvious and list them on eBay; you can see if other dealers (such as eil.com, who I've always found pay good cash prices for their items) OR you can make a seller's page at link
Of course, this is not exhaustive, as there are more auction sites out there than eBay and more dealers who'd pay cash if you took some time to find out.
As for prices....well, they vary. If you look at link, that will give you a rough idea of what you're selling has sold for previously on auction sites. You'll find that prices fluctuate, and that factors such as issue/pressing, condition, label and country of origin make a difference to things.
I'm a collector turned trader myself, and, as a rough guide, I'd be looking for the following for what you've listed here (assuming they are all standard UK editions):
Queen Rocks: £40
Live At Wembley '86: £30
GHIII: £40
Made In Heaven (Cream): £50
Made In Heaven (Black): £75+
I've seen them all go for more, and sometimes a LOT less - but those are figures I've achieved myself, and are about right, IMO :)
Good luck!!
Thank you for your reply,
I will put together a list of what I have and post it on here firstly to see what interest if any there is on here and to see what prices people may recommend.
