(...but i'm only a lame collector :-) btw. i guess that stuff is owned by roger and his companions, isn't it ? no need to cheer for the credits. |

Thank you for the original sources btw, JSS. And a lesser thank you to the narcissistic robin hoods DRF & FMH. |

Many thanks for sharing this. any info of dates places etc ? |
The Real Wizard 18.05.2013 13:37 |
The person who bought the acetates may feel inclined to say so, but shouldn't the person who posted the songs (who is obviously an expert) have included such info to begin with? Hmm.. |

Freddie's my Hero wrote: Stuart think that he's god but he's not god He lied that he has Hangman but this he hasn't He's loser!I stand corrected. Obviously you're an expert on what is in someone else's collection. And of course there's no chance he is the source of these very tracks you just posted... ? Tell us more about your intellect.. |
pidge123 18.05.2013 16:15 |
Yes it would be nice to have all the info about these great shares in the initial package, but if anyone else who has a bit more knowledge about these tracks would be kind enough to help us mortal collectors it would be much appreciated. |

That you're experts on what was in Fuller's collection outside of Fanthology? We're you particularly close? Serious question: was there any truly uncirculated or previously unknown tracks in Fanthology that ended up for sale for sale on Dave's list? Wouldn't that be a better way to lay out a case that everybody could trust enough to make ethical decisions on what to avoid from him? At the time of the blowup I recall there may have been one of the initial leaks that was alleged to be uncirculated, but that everything else in Fanthology had been circulated in some way to greater or lesser degrees. Is that the case? |

Someone is lying ... either ... Freddie took Hangman and is lying about John lying. or John is lying about having nothing left to trade or John does not have Hangman. |

Please please please can all you ego's out there trying to score points off each other give it a rest and just get back to the music, genuine fans are asking simple questions about shares and not getting answers, are we just too small to be included in this forum. Its quite sad really.(bet i get slagged off) |

But amongst all the ignorance that's popped onto this forum as of late, the genuine questions are getting lost in the mix. There is no exact date or venue of this recording. All we know is it's from the second half of 1967. |
pidge123 19.05.2013 13:25 |
thanks for the reply. it is a shame that when great new stuff does come out it seems more important to slag someone off than understand exactly what we are getting. as long as a few sensible heads remain we will get the answers in the end. thanks. |

Perhaps if more people were vocal against the rampant ignorance on this website there would be an increase in the overall quality of discourse here. Without moderation it's the only option. |

Freddie's my Hero wrote: Stuart think that he's god but he's not god He lied that he has Hangman but this he hasn't He's loser!-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How do you know he hasn't got Hangman. Just because it's not in the Queen archives (or so we've been told!), doesn't mean that an acetate of it doesn't exist and doesn't reside in John Stuart's archive. There are lots of multitracks missing for known Queen songs (NOTW in particular), so it's hardly unfeasible to presume that QPL don't hold the multitracks for this. Of course, if one acetate exists, there may be another and I wouldn't be surprised if Brian holds one in his personal archive along with the only known acetate of the De Lane Lea demo sessions (or are you going to disclaim that only one acetate of that exists....?) |
