Can someone please tell me what the most serious discussion EVER discussed in the Serious Discussion section was, and how serious a discussion it was? How serious did it get? I'm imagining a very very serious discussion! |

There have been rumours about a serious discussion. But it's just hearsay. The legend tells of a Paradise of intelligent people before the Big Crash. But the crash caused the fabric of the universe to split and all kinds of morons were able to slip in from parallel universes. |

The most serious was probably "Proof Knebworth exists", it was very serious, first with a clip or two from Rare live, and after that the seriousness went up a notch when it was discovered more of the same clips were found in the show must go on video. This lead to the serious theory that you people at queen productions were hinting at maybe putting more of these same 5 or 6 clips in a documentary. Then another poster posted that 2 minute ITV clip, pretty much sealing the Deal that in fact, because these few clips exist, Queen productions must have every minute of the show recorded on multiple cameras, in terrible 3D. This thread was so serious we didn't just have it posted once, but every week for the last 6 years, and who knows maybe every week for years to come. |

The most serious discussion has been about the Queen Anthology boxset that was supposed to come but is still under the Coming Soon banner. |

Imagine Queenzone (...and the internet) existed during 1986. And there was a thread by the name " A silent countdown has already began" . Suposedly it would have bring to surface the serious possibility of Freddie beeing affected with terminal illness and that everything would be over in 5 years time! That would have been one dead-serious post . Since we don't live in a bubble such a discussion topic would have added to the negative feedback that surronded Freddie's life during the last years . However the fans would have been able to express their thoughts and concerns about "strange things" that started to appear from 1987 onwords. |

There is nothing left to seriously discuss, there hasn't been from about the time of Made in Heaven. That's a fact. |

The only thing serious about here is a serious pain in the arse. Brooks, I believe his name is. Yep, that's him - Greg Brooks. Seriously claims to be an archivist, but the stuff he's archiving never sees the light of day. Seriously! Also, the same said archivist brought out a book, documenting rare live recordings and bootlegs. It was full of some serious shit, from seriously bad grammar to seriously wrong information. |

Greg is the archivist, not a Queen member. They decide what comes out. Not Greg. I hope you can understand this because I would not know how to make this any easier except going into baby talk mode. |
mooghead 06.05.2013 10:14 |
Good point, Greg COULD release everything but chooses not to. Wrong. Just another jealous Queen fan wishes he had his job..... |
Thistle 06.05.2013 10:15 |
^ nice copy and paste job, my friend. Have you never heard of the notion of joking? It was a sarcastic response to a sarcastic thread. Read the post carefully, and tell me where I actually SAY its his fault? Now read it again, and see how many times I use the word "seriously" in reply to GB's tongue-in-cheek question about "seriousness". Now do you get it? Or do I need to get my three year old niece to explain it to you, Mr "thinking is underrated"??? |
Thistle 06.05.2013 10:18 |
Who's jealous, Moog? I would expect that kind of response from this "stick" fellow/ girl, but you? I thought you had better perception? |
cmsdrums 06.05.2013 13:27 |
Brian has been very serious about: Dappy Britney, Beyonce and Pink Five Kerry Ellis not getting through on The Voice (boo hoo) American Idol X Factor Nth version of We Will Rock You remixed Greatest Hits Volume XXIIV etc etc etc The fact that a seriously educated, intelligent, respected, inspirational musician has been so deadly serious about seriously selling us the above, is probably as seriously worrying as it can get - 'seriously'.......... |

"QUEENS very own archivist GREG BROOKS brought along some unseen live concert footage (compiled with thanks by Gary Taylor) which was a treat. Greg also gave a talk on current happenings and told some exclusive information." I would be very glad if someone could shed some light on it. |

I was going to post but to be honest I can't top that...
