I have compiled a file of songs which are considered the best version of the songs performed by the band.
The songs are mainly those suggested by The Real Wizard in this thread:

thanks for your work, nice compilation, but what about Hangman from Tokyo 1975-05-01 which if by far the best sounding rendition of this song... also included? |

I relied a lot on Bob's review for any good performance of a song in a concert. This track was not particularly highlighted in his review of the Tokyo 75-05-01 concert in link and therefore it was missed. I will bear this in mind for any future compilation. |

I gues the tokyo 75 version of hangman was excluded because at the time of the threat this wasn't released? Well not sure I. Have the young nobles cd for more than 3 years I gues. Would be nice to keep this updated ! Would be nice if we have 2 of these 1 the best sounding 2 the best performance of each song regardless it's quality! |

We need more people to give us their suggestions for best songs. I can also plough through all the pages in Bob's website to pick up more best songs in the rest of the tours. |

I made a similar kind of compilation for Depeche Mode live tracks the last month and I thought about doing the same with Queen - but nope... I think it's impossible to catch all great songs of Queen in one compilation! |

Thanks for sharing. First interesting thing on Queenzone for months. With all the slagging off going on I'd almost given up on this site. |

The Real Wizard wrote: People like you need to stick around so that the place won't get even worse !Thanks. There does however need to be something to be worth sticking around for. I've been getting into the quadraphonic scene recently and there's a lot more interesting stuff going on there, but then there is a lot more source material so it's hardly surprising. Sadly despite one or two rumoured items (Golder's Green and Queen I) there is no proof of any Queen in quad and what there is fails to decode correctly. |

The Real Wizard wrote: People like you need to stick around so that the place won't get even worse !Maybe I should upload my Live Aid FM radio recording? I've seen no Live Aid on this site, and a recording off FM radio can't really be considered official product. It's a completely different mix for a start. |

The Real Wizard wrote: Cool beans. Looking forward to it.I was under the impression you'd already heard my Live Aid tape. It's the one Brian's Wig transferred at the same time as the Birmingham NEC 4th source (which has been shared on QZ). Brian sent me a copy of the transfer which is what I intend to share, he did a great job of the transfer and the tape is the master direct off FM stereo. |

My Live Aid tape is moving forward, I've got the .flac files tagged and some basic artwork added. Need to write an info file now, then figure out how to create a torrent since it will be the very first one I've created on this web site or anny other. I have Trader's Little Helper but it seems I need to turn most of the features off, I don't want my files re-encoded etc. |

To post torrent, open file in the Upload File box in the Post Reply box and click Post Message. After all this, go to your torrent file and open it. |
