I noticed that Freddie makes many references to the mother figure in a lot of his songs.
BoRhap - Mama just killed a man....
Liar - Mama, I'm gonna be your slave
My Fairy King - Mother Mercury...
Great King Rat - Don't listen to what mama says...
Mother Love (he co-wrote with Brian)
Plus Brian wrote 'Tie your mother down' and even Roger has 'Loser in the end', basically a song about mother.
Just coincidence, or did these men have a strong attachment to their mothers? I mean in a good way, nothing creepy....
ignoring your last few references - as the title says "freddie mercury and mother"
that aside, "momma" "mama", "mother" etc...are possibly the most-used "unnamed" person in rock n roll music
you think freddie did it a lot? listen to zep, floyd and their generation...it's rife
And not only that! Freddie's mother deserves a private life for [all the Irish swearwords ever invented] sake! What kind of monster wants to know if somebody liked their mother! Why don't you just never mind the lyrics and focus on the music instead of plotting to break into her house and rifle her underwear drawer, which is clearly what this is actually all about.
