I am so dissapointed. This was released back in 2004 and was a great release. Now after 9 years we get the same release again. How long are they going to keep dissapointing us Queen fans. This is a real shame. They've promised us The rainbow show. And what will we get next year? Return of the champions? |

Don't have a cow lads, Queen left Parlophone and Hollywood Records who distributed the DVD in 2004 when they left EMI. All the video releases (so far) are now being done by Eagle Rock, they are bound to release back catalogue items under their own label, It's only common sense. Just a case of Eagle Rock getting the product out under their name plain and simple business. Greatest Hits 1&2 on DVD was already released by Universal in America so there probably won't be a Eagle Rock re-release for those, although that depends on how the new video distribution contract was done in November 2010, but It's unlikely...... |

In fairness, I thought RotC got gyped in terms of features. |

Uuummm. Queen are still on Hollywood Records....that's what the 40th Anniversary re-released catelog was all on using compact discs... |

AlexRocks wrote: Uuummm. Queen are still on Hollywood Records....that's what the 40th Anniversary re-released catelog was all on using compact discs... Correct, I am referring directly to Video releases not audio. Although as it now stands Universal distribute audio from Queen for Hollywood Records. |
AlexRocks 23.04.2013 20:45 |
HUH?! You mean video?! Or do you mean outside of North America? I am not understanding you. |

Obviously, they are sure that we will always buy things that already exist. No, it can happen that I will not buy absolutely nothing more. Perhaps I will found myself another band that does not making fun of people. Sad, very sad! |

Pointless for us die hard fans, but maybe someone new to Queen would enjoy this. This will bring Queen to a new audience, Anyway i agree, we need the release of more of the wonderful '70s stuff. In video or audio, i don't care. |

Is there a chance for a remix? If they take that excessive compression off Roger's snare I'd be thrilled. |

The Real Wizard wrote: Is there a chance for a remix? If they take that excessive compression off Roger's snare I'd be thrilled. I'll second that. Today's press release seems to intimate that it is a remix, and extra material on the DVD, so I'll keep an eye out for reviews first before buying. |
cmsdrums 26.04.2013 14:09 |
Just the-read it - looks like nothing extra content-wise to the original 2004 release, and most likely NOT remixed again I fear. :-( |
pittrek 26.04.2013 14:14 |
Come on guys, there is absolutely NO chance that it will include something what wasn't released on the 2004 release. They will probably only convert the PAL footage to NTSC a repackage it |
dave76 27.04.2013 04:55 |
Freddie himself stated back in 1990 the famous line "oh shit, all this crap again".... |

Maybe they've seen a statistic that says most current US dvd players are now able to play PAL discs as well, and are using this opportunity to sell the EXACT same version. :p |
