Hi guys, I found a fully signed Flash Gordon 1980 promo vinyl in my dad's very extensive, to say the least, vinyl collection after he passed away and I just wondered how much you would see it going for or would pay personally for it to get an idea of what price I should be expecting, thanks :)
There are good and bad signatures. There are good and bad guesses at verifying their authenticity. At the end of the day a guess is just that as there will always be an element of doubt. A self proclaimed 'expert' can be wrong, I've proven that before now.

thanks for your philosophic words, I'm sure you could help the topic starter!

All I am saying is never rely on somebody elses 'guesswork' at authenticity.

And all there is is your word on it, kurgan. I could do a few myself and tell someone their guess is wrong, Just to prove a point. I'm not saying for a moment that's what you're up to, but as you're always saying there's an element of doubt, why shouldn't we doubt your examples? It is a daft game, if you're just trying to prove a point - if someone asks for an opinion, we can give them just that. An opinion. at the end of the day, its up to the buyer or seller, but we are still entitled to post an opinion if asked for it. And surely we can do it without you posting the same rhetoric every time? We know how you feel. Not only do we get your point, but we respect it. That doesn't mean that you have to continuously go around dismissing opinion.
And, for the record, I don't believe these flash signatures are genuine. Sure, I could be wrong, but I'm not trying to sway things either way. That's just my opinion.
