Like many projects throughout the band's career, some see the light of day and others don't for varying reasons. This is one such project that was muted but was not delivered, but that doesn't mean to say it won't be in the future. |

Am I the only one who doesn't reallt care about Hammersmith '75? Of course I'd buy it and enjoy it, but we have the audio in great quality and most of the video in great quality. I'd rather see Hammersmith '79 by far, or Hyde Park, or Rainbow, or Houston... I guess I'll take whatever I can get at this point, though. I don't even know where I'm going with this.... |

As long as it is released in a three concert box set...with the 1975 concert, the 1979 concert, and the 2012 concert. Lets see here....three d.v.d.s...would it be four compact disccs? So a seven disc set in a gorgeous box like the Freddie Mercury "Solo Collection"...though it would not have to be SO big...but big is good. Pretty little pictures...as in BIG ones...new artwork...liner notes...and a hardcover slip case as well!!! YEEESSS!!! Honestly...this would be something that would make more sense to release before anything else...I think. |

Together with Earls Court 1977 the most overrated gig by Queen. It's not that special. Songs like Flick of the Wrist, Sweet Lady, The Prophet's Song etc. were left out. The bootlegs available are fine enough. I much rather see the Rainbow shows getting a release, since it's something we haven't seen/heard before (complete, that is) |

No one cares any more. Queen are regarded as a Greatest Hits band by their record company and that's all we're gonna get. |

Who cares anymore about old 70s Queen released on: VHS/LASER DISK/VCD/DVD/BLURAY/DIGITAL DOWNLOAD/NEXT LATEST FORMAT etc etc Note the formats above and teh history. That's how long this never ending saga has been going on! Time to give up the ghost! |

Benn wrote: No one cares any more. Queen are regarded as a Greatest Hits band by their record company and that's all we're gonna get.You seem to be igoring the fact that the band's modus operandi hasn't changed between changing labels, and that it is in fact QPL that regards the band as a Greatest Hits band. If for instance Universal wasn't interested in releasing something, QPL could quite easily come to an agreement with them to release it via another label (bearing in mind that it is highly unlikely Universal would turn to down any new Queen audio release) - QPL don't want to release anything new. The album re-issue campaign was a damp squib and Universal will be well aware it could have been far better had QPL been more forthcoming with supplying unreleased music to expand the albums to something of interest to fans. QPL didn't want to expand the albums at all apparently, and the rip off 5 track bonus disc editions were the shitty compromise between QPL and a record label trying to re-sell a dead bands back catalogue again. QPL raise most of their revenue from publishing/radio play, so they aren't particularly interested in CD or DVD releases - end of story there. Brian and Roger have no interest whatsoever of catering for their worldwide fanbase - it is as plain as that. No blame can be put on any record label they've been signed to. They've missed the boat with physical releases anyway by about 15 years. |

I can't believe for years now where we are still waiting for the release of any 70s concert on DVD, I think it's clear that these concerts for whatever reason will not see the light of day. I am just glad that some of the footage has appeared in the public domain be it in poor quality. I can't help but wonder why QPL have spent years re-releasing the same tripe from the 80s. They may not have played huge gigs in the 70s and the shows were shot on tape but their music was superior. |

If they ever do release it on blu ray , they should definitely put some contemporary documentary footage on there also. Contemporary interviews film of them walking dogs and things. And looking like English rock stars in the country side drinking Champagne etc etc ,with all that goofy seventies stuff, terrible fashions, trousers etc that we all love so much, and rolls royces etc.etc that is the image. summer English country roads and big mansions and Freddie lay in a field chewing a long blade of grass ,with his sun glasses on as its very sunny until sun set sets in. Dandelions and Dragon flies and Buzzing Bumble Bees and cows mooing in the distance as the sun goes down in a golden hew. On the horizon . 33 mm look , in the sky , the flicker of a dying red fire melts as viewed through the black fingers of the trees on the green hill ( you can almost hear it crackle, as it burns out to night) it is silently coming, the dark, Its veil of musky night comes down , cooling the sun burnt land, the landscape now ominously casting its long shadows , as the rolls Royce is seen driving off through the arches of black barked trees that line the quiet country lane , as the darkness descends the antiquated headlights like gas lamps , yellowee fog, flicker on and off , to the bumps, as they all go home for tea in time . |
