You should ask your money back from Fuller, because this has nothing to do with "trindent studio" :-) It's a fan mix, created from the standard B-side and the intro of We Are The Champions if I remember correctly |

I can confirm that the MTS version posted IS a fan mix, because I know the person who did it very well. ;) It was only supposed to be an experiment, and not for public consumption, and was certainly not intentionally publicly shared at any point. |

The version released (which is a remix to accomodate the band's wishes and includes what sounds like digital echo/delay on the lead vocals) in any form doesn't have "I've" faded in whatsoever - it is mixed without an "I've", looking at the waveform confirms that. Whether there's an album acetate that includes an original Mad The Swine mix that has a fade out from the previous track and "I've" intact - I've no idea. Listening to the released version, there's nothing to suggest anything has been edited out - and why would they? Did the band really go "Hhhmm, I don't like that "I've" at the beginning - lets remove it"?! I know someone suggested it's cut because they couldn't remove the drums from the previous track which supposedly overlaps, but that's bollocks because the released version is a fresh remix and would therefore be from a multitracks tape and therefore unsequenced. Someone else had suggested it was just re-mastered - not so... you can only do so much when mastering (particularly with the fairly primitive digital equipment that band were using around then), and there's no way the echo on the vocal isn't digital - which wouldn't have been possible when original recorded/mixed. A non-stand alone version of Mad The Swine isn't very interesting, so it's funny no ones every produced this supposedly unique version. |

There are fewer know compared to 70's agreed. And the format went back to cassettes and in the end of the 90's the acetate cdr was the standard. E.g. All Miracle singles are out there on acetate. The abbeyroad Headlong acetate is out there. The 1 sided show must go on excist. I think we can assume as long as there was plans to release a single on 7" or 12" commercially , there is a acetate made before pressing! |

Yuri Queen wrote: and if you already have Yamaguchi, what is your problem?!!!Might I suggest you familiarize yourself with the concept of -> more than one version of a show. <- This show has two different audience sources, and your copy of this particular source is either a lower tape generation copy or a better transfer from the master. Thus people are interested. And even if I did have your copy, you're the person who flaunted yours so that's why people (including myself) are wondering why you're not putting the whole thing up. You weren't the taper, so it'll emerge in one way or another. You could take the credit for it, but .... your choice. |

Yuri, why do you have the need to act like an immature little brat and not man up instead? You really should try to be human and be civil, instead of acting like the many trolls that keep bringing down this once great website. Some of us ARE capable of forgiving and forgetting, you know (unless you wish to be like the extreme, unforgivable Dave R Fuller type instead) There is genuine interest out there for your Yamaguchi source, count me among them. |
