The championship was a back and forth contest with a total of 138 votes being cast. People who evidently REALLY wanted one side or the other to win kept voting over and over to ensure their rightful champion came out the victor. For a while it seemed that Back Chat would make it out my a smidgen, but someone helped Under Pressure to roar back and win 75-63. I wish these kinds of polls wouldn't work like that, but there's not much I can do to stop it. If I paid the website money, I could have it track where all the votes are coming from, but I don't care that much, so that's how it is.
Anyway, these are the final rankings. Not entirely what I had expected. I think The Real Wizard put it real well:

Nothing says "shitty album" like Back Chat being the second most popular track.
Go drum machine go !
I think I want to listen to Queen II now.
I think I just might give Q2 a spin myself. For the 200th time in less than three years.
I'll continue doing this in a bit. Jazz will probably be up next.
Thanks for helping!
Thanks for doing these. Its pretty fun and interresting. Keep doing it and maybe when you are finished make a document or so with all the final polls. Yeah im too lazy to make one myself :-)

I am not to crazy about MoTJ, but I am unusual in that I like FI, so I am only a slight Roger "hater".

I'm the reverse.

I am glad as well. It would have been a farce if Chicago style ballot box stuffing would taken a below average Queen song and deposed the rightful champion (a top 20 Queen song as well).
Predictable enough that Under Pressure should win - rightfully so, in my opinion. Jazz should be interesting, actually one of my favourite Queen albums, despite some mediocre tracks.
I love pretty much all of Jazz. More of That Jazz, Fun It and Dreamer's Ball and If You Can't Beat Them are my least favourite tracks, but I don't think those are bad at all!
Well, my prediction was not so far off, but I was still surprised with all the hate for Life is Real. I was really expecting that to come in the top three.
Oh well. I like Back Chat.
As for the next one, I guess you're doing these in the least popular album order.
If Jazz is next, I guess the Works will come afterwards. Either way, I cant wait for the results for ANATO and Queen II. I think you should re-do the poll for Queen though, since it was pretty badly flawed.
Sorry for the lack of good punctuation, I'm using a French keyboard, and I have no idea how to put quotes or question marks.

Actually, no. The reason I started with AKoM was on a suggestion from GF to start with a weak '80s album that doesn't have many good songs. I wanted to do Hot Space and Jazz next because those are the two albums people seem to disagree on most as to the quality of many of the individual songs there. I certainly don't think Jazz is less popular than The Works.
After I'm done with Jazz, though, I'm not sure where I'll go next. I'll be asking for suggestions again.

It seems that the main reason Queen didn't work well was that someone was driving up the score of arguably the two best songs on the album, and not being at all subtle about it either. I suppose if someone did the same thing but was less blatant about it, I wouldn't know, but I'm not too invested in who actually wins these things. I just enjoy conducting them.
Life is Real sounds like early 80's Europop.... Except not United Kingdom Europop. More like Netherlands Europop with English singing.
Las Palabras De Amor is the same really, except it sounds like Netherlands/French/United Kingdom Europop.
Also, Staying power's better than Back chat.
