11. Body Language
12. Soul Brother
That strange synthy song where Freddie tries too hard to be sexy got voted out as the worst song that actually appears on the Hot Space album. I really don't see how Soul Brother is a worse song, though. Sure, it couldn't have taken much effort at all to write ("Anyone got a copy of Greatest Hits on them? Thanks!") but, then again, neither could Body Language (they basically all boil down to the line toward the end of the song, "Baby, you're hot!"). And Soul Brother is fun, something I can't honestly say about Body Language. Then again, that's just my taste.
Which song is the NEXT worst song on the album? After a little bit of though, I made my decision.

Have a pleasant day!
I went for the not so Cool Cat. I actually love Dancer. Wonderful guitar lead in that one. Wouldn't have voted Body Language or Soul Brother out at this point.
Aligned to the right this time! Exciting :P
Dancer is honestly one of my favourite Hot Space tracks, the guitar and vocals are classic Queen (albeit in a fairly non-classic context). I find it infectiously catchy, too. I really do sort of like Cool Cat, but I voted for that, it's never done much for me.
No, i cant stand dancer, not a fan of Hot Space in general but if i had to pick my best 3 tracks from the album, i would say Under pressure, Staying power and Back chat.

Prince had already released 4 albums by the time Hot Space hit the shelves, and then a 5th in the same year!
It's stats, not the influence. I don't think he really changed the game before Purple Rain came out.
You may be right there, although 1999 certainly made people really sit up and pay attention. By the time "Sign O the Times" came out he'd left the game completely and produced one of the best and most diverse albums ever made.
I'm not crazy about most songs on Hot Space, but I think Cool Cat is a LOT worse than Dancer. And Body Language. I do agree that Soul Brother is even worse, though.

Clearly a very polarising album - I don't care much for Staying Power at all, I saw it described somewhere as 'motion sickness inducing', which is a better description than I could come up with.
