There's plenty of footage of John Deacon seemingly singing both on stage and in the studio but I don't think I've ever heard his voice and I wouldn't recognise it if I did.
I can understand why he was seen to sing with the other three in the studio as it made for better footage in videos etc. but what was the point of him having a mic on stage?
Is there a track or performance where you can hear him singing?
There only seems to be the Radio Ga Ga clip on You Tube where his mic is exposed. Quite interesting, its how I'd imagine him to sound actually.
Still, I've never seen/heard anything where you can hear him and you're also supposed to be able to hear him. Maybe they did a 'Linda McCartney' on him - not surprising given his vocals on Radio Ga Ga.
I can't pick out his voice on Liar.
Lots of things related to "John Deacon singing" Youtube may come up with are actually fakes.
You just should check Radio Ga Ga from Milan 1984 (first night).
There's plenty of versions where his voice is apparently audible, but I can never hear it very well. I'm normally able to pick out voices and harmonies and whatnot - I guess it's just cos, having not heard him sing, I don't know what to be looking for. I can never hear him on the 'All Day Long' bit, Roger and Brian drown him out, at least to my ears. :(
I don't know why he had a mic at all everyone knows he never sang. Would be interesting to hear a sound check... John: "can you hear me now?"... "Yes John, we are just turning your mic down"
:-)

OK, other JD vocals (that are audible) are on Somebody to Love, Lap of the Gods revisited....,Housten We Will Rock You (slow version); Father to Son (I think Portland or Providence in the bit just after 'Family song, doo doo' but only for a moment; yes, 'All day long' in Liar, just listen for the lowest voice. Now as for the live videos that we have of him singing in Tie Your Mother Down, Killer Queen, KYA, Friends will be friends, Hammer to Fall and One Vision, they turned him down in the mix. Now too his credit, at least it shows that he liked to join in the songs!
I don't hear any obvious Deacon vocals on Somebody To Love or Lap of the Gods.
They're just not there, there's no reason they should be to be fair.
Great bassist, great songwriter but I'll always wonder why he had a mic onstage. But that's just me.
Would be great to see an interview with John one day, would love to hear his side of the Queen story especially about the final years.
Will never happen though.
Don't forget his speech impediment. Its interesting how some people believe he can be heard doing Radio Ga Ga live but surely it will have been Wadio Ga Ga.
During one of those South American shows Freddie uses John's mic as his failed, and you can hear the techies raising the volume.
I don't think John ever mimed. Seeing as he can be heard on some occasions. I think it's hard to mime with an exciting crowd in front of you.
I havent any word to appreciate this post.....Really i am impressed from this post....the person who create this post it was a great human..thanks for shared this with us. https://royalcbd.com/cbd-oil-cost/
