I've been hearing, for a while now, that a remake of the first Highlander will more than likely happen in the near future. What do you guys think of this? I'm wonderring if there will be any Queen music or if there will be any cameos by Chris, Sean or Clancy
Sean Connery has retired from acting for good. (but saying that, he also said years ago that he would NEVER play Bond again, and then out came that crappy 007 movie, Hence the title "Never Say Never Again")
& Clancy Brown, is too busy playing the voice of "MR. CRABBS" on "Sponge Bob Square Pants".
Flogging a dead horse, there is a cult following there to be tapped all-right, but it's not big enough to throw big money into the project. Hope Queen do not feature in it. The director walked last month, and the writers do not have any big hits, except for one who was involved in the screenplay for the recent Twilight shite.
I wouldn't be shocked if it was shelved.

Bahaha, Kurgan is the voice of Mr. Krabbs? (I'm pretty sure that's how it's spelled, btw.) Of course he is!
Clancy Brown voices a lot of surprising people - he's voiced Dr. Neo Cortex and Baron Praxis in their respective Naughty Dog game series' as well. And he's one of the prison guards in The Shawshank Redemption. He just keeps popping up in odd places for me.
I'm starting a rumour that Adam Lambert will replace Christopher Lambert as the Highlander and Paul Rodgers/Chuck Norris will be the Kurgan. Let them fight to the death because THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE ... Queen lead singer.
I could shit into a bucket and it would be a better Highlander remake than whatever these clowns were going to come up with. I hope it stays in development hell where it belongs.
I seriously doubt a big budget remake would retain any of the music or actors from the original in any significant capacity. I could see a small cameo, or a nod to Queen's music in it somewhere, but not much more.
if there is a Highlander remake you'd doubt it'd want, as it's sound track, something that sounds it was from the 80s. I hate all this remaking of stuff anyway. New ideas?
