What a star. An album on the way - 2 years in the making and not one leak.
No QPL types false dawns, no shit collaberations, no Kerry fuckin Ellis, no shit novelty products.
Queen and Bowie fans cross over quite a bit. So to all the Bowie fans I'm realy happy for you today.
You follow an artist of huge integrity.
Firstly, I doubt they needed the money. Secondly, I think they've earned the right to follow any musical direction they wish to. Brian May isn't exactly making millions performing with Kerry Ellis.
To be honest I'm not a big fan of much post-Queen material but some people seem to have an unquenchable thirst for things from a band that, effectively, ceased to exist 21 years ago.
There's probably been more Queen related stuff released in the last two decades than Bowie stuff. Granted, not all of it to my taste but that's my problem.
Arcade Fire, Muse, Metric, Chilly Gonzales, Janelle Monae, Souljazz Orchestra, Black Keys, the Civil Wars, Stars, the Orb, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, the Flower Kings
^ good music nowadays. Stop listening to the radio. :-)
The Bowie song is good. Not sure if he's having trouble with his lungs, or if it's merely the fact that he's 66 that's making itself apparent.

And don't forget the might RUSH; still doing it after 40 years

I kinda like the new single, but I do think it sounds like Bowie's having trouble with his voice, or more accurately, his lungs.
I guess it means he sounds just like he always did LOL
He doesn't have more recent albums. And while he doesn't exactly have to do something 'new' stylistically for it to be good, I would argue that his vocal style on this song is something relatively unusual for him. Very subdued and 'broken' sounding. I challenge you to sing better than David Bowie does now when you're 66 years old.

I challenge you to stand up right now and sing better than THIS 72 years old XD link
my favorite version of this song, besides.
Some people can SING. I like DB but he sounds like he'll collapse breatless next moment in all his records lifelong.
