Allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Thiago Campos and I'm a guitarist/producer/mixer from Brazil.
I have an online project called "VRA! Split-Screen Covers" where I get together with a few friends and guest musicians from around the world to record cover songs and post them on Youtube.
It's been a fun project, and a great way to dig up unknown talents, as well as practice my recording and mixing skills.
We started the project out as a Dream Theater cover, and recorded 6 of their songs already.
Right now I'm expanding the project to include some of my other favorite bands.
I chose Queen as the first band we'd cover in this new direction of the project. The song we chose was "The Show Must Go On" from Innuendo, probably one of my favorites (if not THE favorite from Queen).
Below is the link for you to check it out if you are interested. Please appreciate it for what it is, a cover. A band as great as Queen is very difficult to touch, specially because of Freddie's vocals. We had no intentions of matching tones/sounds, performances, and did our own thing (obviously respecting the arrangements). In fact, I purposefully went for a more "modern" sound this time around.
Hope you like it!

That was really good. Cool keyboards and drumming especially, but it all works together really well.
I also liked the Dream Theater - As I Am cover. The singer does a fantastic job on that - as good as the original, maybe better. Some great shredding too.
