I'll believe when the DVD it's in my hands. Hammersmith was also confirmed as a next DVD release in 2009 (even the BBC broadcasted the remastered version) and untill now there's no word on what's happened on why is it taking so long to release it.

World should be ending in 2 hours if my memory serves correctly. If this is released it will be the best thing they've put out in years. Re-release or not, and regardless of Freddie's form, vocally speaking, it'll still be something which we don't currently have, which is a document of their fantastic stage show as they performed it in the early-mid 70's (as an official release, without any songs chopped up into 'medley's and whatnot).

Jimmy Page worked from three nights at Earls Court 75 for the LZ DVD and it looks/sounds fine to me.

I agree with you. Hammy 79 is an amazing concert, and I either fail to understand why they don't work on it. It would make a great release. Personally, I consider this concert one of the best in the whole Queen live history. It's amongst my favourites.

Ahh, but which fans? On my side of the pond, it's the first 6 albums that people remember most. A million people saw Queen in their prime and can't buy a DVD from that period. It's nice to hear this is finally going to change. Milton Keynes and Wembley mean little to people in North America who played News Of The World until it wore out.
