Great Bargain. I'm slowly starting to buy the 2011 remasters but I don't know what it is about the Innuendo album but there are very high frequencies on the lead vocal that irritate my ears and make listening quite a chore. The overall sound of the album is better than the original CD, with instrument separation and bass sounding much better and clearer. The guitars sound fantastic and makes me appreciate the work of Brian May even more. This was original a digitally recorded album as far as I know and it always sounded sterile. 'Magic', 'The Miracle' and 'Innuendo' are digital recordings and don't sound great on CD. I have an original 'Innuendo' LP and this sounds better than the new remaster! Sorry Universal, you failed my ears with this one! I think if a digital recording from the 80s is of a certain standard, say 16 bit multitrack then how can you enhance it to 24 bit or 32 bit? Sony machines were 16 bit then 24 bit in this period weren't they? CD today is still only 16 bit playback! Hmm, one crude complicated system! I think the analog recorded Queen albums transcribed better to CD.
