shows with happy endings.... are you listening John Deacon?
;-)
i can't vouch for the age of the OP on this occasion - but the " ;-)" at the end of his post clearly indicated humour and NOT a serious comment.
i don't have any quarrel with humour - no matter how funny or unfunny - at least the poster is attempting to lighten things up a little
what my issue is - is with all the OPs who are being deadly serious with their

I certainly hope he is.
I've commented several times that she's looked GREAT at some of her shows... SOME... Really bad in others.
I always thought that might be a great way to collaborate. Fortunately for Brian, he has such a huge legacy behind him.
U can imagine the ...er... Exasperated phrases...
Kerry: "Ooh brian... You have such a huge.... Legacy!"
(Yes, deliberately bringing it down a peg)
I'm with you, I hope it gets John back on the road.
Boning a younger woman while your wife waits at home - it keeps a man young. I won't judge him. Still, I'd like to see him do his own thing at least once more before he retires. Someone send him a copy of "On An Island" - hell, even point him towards his own solo albums - see if we can't refresh his memory.

Brian for sure boned Julie Glover when Anita was at home so he did it before... can't blame him really.
Didn't we have this discussion before? Personally, I don't think he is actually having it off with her, this definitely seems to be a proper music collaboration and nowt else. He's just being diverse, and she's looking up to a mentor. Both are enjoying the music. It doesn't even have to be what is regarded as Brian's style - as long as he's enjoying himself, that's good enough for me :)
...........However, if he was....I really couldn't blame him, she's a fine looking girl.
I think my post was deleted lmao wonder if May reads this forum....
Laughing at his twitter moaning again this time going on about his neighbour and his noisy leaf blower and how there bad for our health lol
When he speaks about the collaboration there is certainly a sense that he really believes something significant is being achieved. He's said recently "Over the last year, Kerry and I have been recording new material when our schedules have allowed it. As on the 'Anthems' album, some of the tracks have very big and splendid arrangements, but we have become more and more fascinated with the magic of great songs stripped down to their core and re-interpreted in an 'acoustic' way. We find there is a purity which makes the songs speak very clearly. Kerry's instincts as an interpreter of songs are always inspiring, and the art of arranging has always been one of my obsessions. We have found that the two of us just working live off each other can distill the very essence of a song — and that's what we hope to bring you in these dates". The work clearly inspires him, and presumably many listeners, but it doesn't much inspire me. I wonder if he hasn't lost a little bit of perspective, particularly with the essence of a song bit. That's a heck of a claim.
It just seems that the fire in the belly to write great new creative stuff is no longer there (sadly!). I think its far from complete sh!te, but Anthems was no Queen album.
