ghostwithasmile wrote: So what do QZ members will like to have as a XMAS surprise ? Maybe if you write down your wish it ould just happen...anything from Queen from the 70's... or ABBA (?) |
| GinjaNinja 07.11.2012 10:02 |
A pony. ;) If not that, early 70's Queen would be wonderful! |
| Ghostwithasmile is BACK! 07.11.2012 10:10 |
No ABBA will appear on this website... stick to Queen please... |

Maybe the fantholgy will give answer to this question... Otherwise stick to this website the next couple of days... |

The followings are indeed an early Xmas surprise for every Queen fan... > 04.04.1976 Nichidai Kodo, Tokyo > 18.02.1981 Nippon Budokan, Tokyo Both of the shows are from Mr. Peach's recording and will be released by Tarantura later in this year. |

Thanks a lot for the info! Both shows should be very interesting. I have my fingers crossed to see the 01/04/1976 Tokyo show released by tarantura one day aswell... I really hope Mr. Peach recorded that one too, since I think it's a mind-blowing performance. In the meantime, the shows mentioned above will do:-) |

a Freddie reincarnation called Adam |
| Wer-Al_Zwowe 07.11.2012 12:47 |
I would like to have a full 3d recording of the Hammersmith 75 Christmas show in glorious smell-O-vision. Of course with 7.1 surround sound and support for holographic projection, to get the most authentic concert experience ever. |
| dave76 07.11.2012 13:20 |
maybe some unheard demo's or outtakes. Or something like what we got in June. A dvd with tv appearances from kerry & brian. But now a dvd with Brian and Roger tv appearances. |
| silver_salmon 07.11.2012 13:53 |
Greatest Hits 2 and Wembley '86 both in a deluxe box set. |
| matt z 07.11.2012 13:58 |
If it were left to me... 1) Innuendo - deluxe edition (somewhere in the $24.00-35.00 range, NOT the $200 range of the Wembley box) Featuring: -Original Album (no sound wars remaster) -deluxe repro artwork 6x10 size book, art + novelty cut outs of Grandeville Illustrations -hints of Innuendo demo mixes and rough radio teasers -if space allows; "explosive version" -TSMGO "voice over mix -extended production photography of the making of the Innuendo music video (what happened to all those miniatures? Surely some company house or production assistant at least took polaroids!) -DVD/blue ray featuring the remaining music videos not included in Greatest Hits/Flix 1 & 2 remastered for digital reproduction (featuring outtakes and behind the scenes footage) in 5.1 surround -short mini doc featuring an authentic bookend to the INNUENDO story... Featured interview: JOHN DEACON 2012 from a ritzy strip joint juke joint... -mini doc on the "queen legacy" (could do without this it might entail a lot of extensive interviews: but SEE Michael Jackson's/SPIKE LEE'S "BAD 25" for a reference) -if they upped the price it had better have a Queen Royal Purple wall tapestry. (I had to opt out of buying one from a QZ'er thanks to being laid off) -5.1 Remastered/Remixed Album. 2) -not too worried about them re-releasing MADE IN HEAVEN : THE SHORT FILMS.... ****UNLESS(!))*** it allowed for a new 5.1 mix, I loooove that album 3) The ART of Freddie Mercury .... Apparently fred's mom is still alive, I'd love to see some attention given to his physical media art work. Doesn't have to be an incredible collection, I've just always been curious and it's never been shown in much more detail than on "the untold story", to the best of my knowledge. |
| Ron 07.11.2012 15:02 |
A 7 min alternate Fat Bottomed Girls studio version would be great... |
| thefallenqueen 07.11.2012 15:16 |
a Wembley 86 25 years special re-release would be great |

The news that Brian and Roger are working on a new album, that Queen is going to tour the US again, or that Roger will tour the US with his upcoming new album. Any of those. Or unheard demos, or any live albums from the 70s or early 80s (I would love another live album from the Hot Space Tour, maybe from the US or Japanese leg), or that John Deacon has secretly been writing albums of music so that Queen can make a super huge mega spectacular comeback. |

ghostwithasmile is asking what we want, so let's give the man some reasonable answers. If this is the follow up to the Brian+Kerry DVD, i'm looking forward to it. I prefer that you share video, so my choice would be something along the lines of the Brian+Kerry DVD but with the rest of the band. Like TV appearances from Roger and the Cross, Freddie Mercury (with great pretender, etc), Brian solo stuff, unreleased promos, that kind of stuff. But if you have some great concert that you know will please us, go ahead and surprise us. I just appreciate whatever you guys can share with us and i like surprises. |
| Gregsynth 07.11.2012 19:31 |
I'll take something Queen-related! XD |
| matt z 07.11.2012 19:58 |
I just hope its not GREATEST HITS repackaged with NEW COVER ART(!!!) BTW: F-ING BRILLIANT idea, Matt!!! Where HAVE all the Innuendo videos gone? |

Father To Son was played from 1973 to 1976, and there are not many soundboard recordings from that era. The sound indicates that the recording was done in a closed venue, e.g. a theatre (not a stadium sound). So I still think it's one of the November 74 Rainbow shows. You made me feel VERY interested in this your little game :-) |
