as said before...there's much much much worse being sold out there. so WHY the f*ck shouldn't this seller have a go? what's your beef?
unless he's selling something that you traded with him on the basis of a non-share agreement (where have WE heard THAT before? lol)
which isn't the case as this stuff has been "in the wild" for decades....
who died and made you God?

you haven't given an a opinion. you've stated "annoyance" without giving any reasons
tell us why it annoys you, explain your reasons why people shouldn't but it.
Personally I would not buy it, because I will have the same quality copy(or better) in my collection already & you can easily knock up a better sleeve in photoshop.
But Each to their own, if somebody wants to part with their money for this, well, it's their money.
I mean 30 years ago, I used to go along to the Record Fairs, buy my Queen Boot on audio cassette, with the crappy printed pastel coloured insert. I would go home a cherish every moment of it, being happy just to have an unreleased recording.
now-days, it's the computer age & most boots are readily available to download from the net for free.
QPL tend to turn a blind eye to bootlegs, as long as money is not changing hands. I mean this site could get closed down at any time, but the sharing of boots will only happen somewhere else. But the selling of something illegal, well that's another matter.

Your entitled to your opinion, as I am also.
Yes, but some opinions are well-informed and some opinions suck.
Unless you taped these shows yourself and feel ripped off, I'm not sure why you feel upset about a bootleg being sold. It's been happening since the 60s. Bootleggers are responsible for unearthing some great unreleased music over the past few decades.
The honest answer is I paid £100 for the box set, I shared it here for everyone to obtain for free - that's my code - If I have it, we all have it. Then you find someone who runs a set of copies & wants to charge £20.00 for them. How many people will buy this & think they bought the box ? it's that I have issue with. I have bought many original silvers & cd'rs over the years & would not dream of selling copies of them, please forgive me for being niave but that's the way I am. Lastly who knows if these shows have been converted to Mp3 - I would'nt rule it out.
In hindsight it was a plea, not a command - to not buy it, I did'nt feel I had to explain it's on here for free - or did I ?
Peace : Jon

yes, but this is a cdr copy of an "original" bootleg... there's a difference!
now we're getting somewhere....you feel aggrieved because you shelled out a stack for it, now you find that someone is making money out of something you gave away free?
1. you can't police everyone else's conscience
2. can you be sure he's even selling the copies YOU shared for free?
3. when you buy/sell in the bootleg world, you're paddling in very murky/muddy waters....best not to preach, moan or complain about others.
4. lesson learned for next time maybe?
5. chill, as RW said - it's because of the buying/selling of boots that eventually something good gets shared...you don't like the heat? get out of the kitchen
1. True, I was trying to warn people that it's not what it appeared to be
2. I never said anything of the sort & it never crossed my mind, the evidence is in the description which you obviously still havent read. It states "for a fraction of what I paid for the Orig" I am not the seller ?
3. As already stated I was not preaching, but merely pleading
4. ha ha, yea thanks for the education
5. I'm chilled thanks
Brenski, for whatever reason I have offended you I am sorry, it was not my intention & yes I have learned a valuable lesson, you have changed my mind set & from today I will no longer share on here, instead I will burn copies of my silvers off & sell them on ebay.

now that last comment is just daft. you haven't offended me (or anyone) - you've just made some rather silly comments which still haven't been backed up by any genuine reasons for objecting to his "right to sell what he paid for"....the crux here is that you BOTH paid for something that really wasn't anyone's to own or sell in the first place
bootleg: made, distributed or sold illegally
therefore in the terms of legality - HE had as much right to sell what he bought as YOU had to pass it on for free
